No it isn’t how he sounds.
The problem isn’t people that can’t beat level 100 of candy crush. The problem is people feeling entitled to beating it.

That would only be relevant if people were talking about individual regions.
It is however also true that just going by the data here: https://classic.warcraftlogs.com/zone/rankings/1010#metric=progress
,
the following statement was not true:
The graph currently shows 10794 groups at 10/10 and 12582 groups that aren’t.
To establish that the larger portion of the player base has cleared than has not, you’ll need to show how those groups don’t represent the players. Some of these raid teams aren’t actually guilds. Some are pugs and gbids. Some are alt runs.
Which of them are relevant to the conversation here?
you’re getting it Ace
From what I remember, the two tiers are comparable in difficulty. Most of those who can’t kill Kael and Vashj right now are probably going to get stuck on Archimonde and Illidan, too, and then people will be asking for those bosses to be nerfed as well. And then they’ll get roflstomped in Sunwell and want that nerfed, too.
It’s lame and sets a bad precedent, IMO. Guilds with problems should be addressing them if they ever want to clear Sunwell. Merge with another struggling guild or whatever needs to be done, not crying to Blizzard for nerfs so they can kick the can down the road.
And guilds that just can’t get over the hump and kill all the bosses, hey, that’s okay. That’s how it was in TBC. Not everyone gets to be a winner. But you give it what you’ve got and get as far as you can, having fun along the way.
What’s wrong with gatekeeping? People can’t be proud of what they achieve that others clearly can’t?
I agree. If guilds can’t kill Kael’thas, they are going to struggle with the end bosses of T6 and probably other fights like Illidari Council and Reliquary. 9/10 guilds will likely clear T6 fine as I do think Vashj is harder. However, I think Archimonde is a wild card because it’s extremely punishing to mistakes and everyone has a responsibility to avoid fires. Illidan is more reliant on tanks in P2 for success.
I remember my original guild had been clearing Archimonde for weeks. Then suddenly we wiped, and wiped and wiped and wiped.
Everyone was frustrated because if 1-2 people screw up it can wipe the raid, so the raid leader threatened that he was going to fraps the fight, review and call out people publically.
Next attempt was flawless.
I agree. Archimonde will have the lowest repeat kill success rate. It’s a boss that is quite difficult to have on farm because it requires you to pay attention every single week for the entire encounter. You can’t coast on that fight nor really outgear it. At best you can make the fight end faster, but the mechanics must always be respected.
Mid December, so that means we wont see phase 3 till what February? Christ…
Kael and Morogrim will be nerfed considerably. The most challenging part of those fights will basically be neutralized.
But the funny thing is that I don’t think Vashj is going to be much easier, so most of these 8/10 guilds are just going to become 9/10 guilds.
Seriously guys, we’re bleeding bored, frustrated guild members on our empty server, I agree with the need to nerf to help guilds get 10/10 before the next phase, but another month of this phase before the nerf even happens, that’s basically saying no new phase till January, and that’ll kill so many guilds, mine included.
Would you be able to update the patch notes with the specific changes to KT?
I dont mind the nerf if you are releasing p3 at the same time. i agree people should have a chance to see the next phase just not the same day as people who have had p2 on farm for weeks/months
A lot of people cannot Kill the bosses due to we are playing the most difficulty version, there was 4 million with world buff in the past.
Work within the confines of the game if you want to achieve something. If you can’t, then maybe this game isn’t for you. And for the record, I’m 8/10 in a guild that is hurting for players, or was hurting for players.
God. All this whining about how it’s too difficult. It’s so scrubby.
Edit: More and more I realize, that Classic are retail refugees that just couldn’t hack it at the higher levels.
Oh lordy no, how dare people provide feedback about a product they use for entertainment instead of just taking whatever gets shoved down their throat.
The product is what it is. Deal with it instead of whining. Instead of trying to change it to suit that person’s own personal needs, play the game. If it is no longer entertaining, don’t play. It’s very simple. Instead people are just crying. It’s scrubby.
From the fighting community, scrubs were the ones who banned certain characters or implemented certain rules when playing. “Throwing is cheap”. “Zangief is cheap”. If you throw a person by accident, they get to throw you in return. There were ways around it, but it was too difficult for them to learn or practice it. Because a throw was frame 3, finding a move or perfecting the timing to do something in frame 2 was too much effort.
Scrubs.
These nerfs are 2.3 (ZA patch nerfs) which happened ~6 months AFTER BT came out. The only nerf to this content in OG Phase 3/Patch 2.1 was MC removal from Vashj, not this hybrid version where MC is around but CC’able.
remove attunements too on the 14th
Not even remotely the same, we also had pre-2.1 talents and class balance, the OLD regen formula, on top of just insane number of issues and bugs that affected like 2/3 of bosses - KT was only finally fixed and killable after 3+ months.
