There is a clear consensus by a major majority of the WoW community to exclude ragnaros and other Latin American servers and no one tries to hide it. I never see anyone say “oh this person is from tich don’t invite them.” There is a clear stigma about Latin servers that imo shouldn’t exist. Especially in 2023.
That’s quite a bit… seems like an exaggeration but I believe you.
I don’t personally have anything against South American realms. Biggest thing for me is their internet seems less reliable so I’m hesistant in that regard.
I don’t think so. I have never had an issue with Lightbringer or many other servers. I’ve been playing a long time and I didn’t believe people so I always kept inviting players from Ragnaros. But the evidence is overwhelming and now I believe people. They are the first to quit or disconnect, they curse and pick fights in the middle of keys. It’s just unacceptable behavior.
With a name like Rita (of Spanish origin if you didn’t know) I would think you’d be a little more understanding with our South American brothers and sister.
That would be nice, but I’m not doing all the work. If people want others to play with them, they have to have good sportsmanship. They have to be respectful.
Who says a couple bad interactions? And what about my behavior is toxic? Stop throwing that word around without even knowing the definition. I choose who to include and not include. Deal with it.
Maybe this is just some West Coast nonsense or privileged college kid stuff, but along the Gulf and the working class, not a single person appreciates this nonsense.
With that said, I’ve never understood the hate for them, just as I never understood the hate for Peruvians in Dota 2. I genuinely had less bad experiences with Rag or Azralon then I have had with Tich/Illidan.
and the language barrier doesn’t bother me because I don’t talk much in game anyways.
To be fair, I don’t really pug much, as being able to talk and socialize is what makes running stuff fun to me, but all because it’s not an issue for you, doesn’t mean its a non-issue for others.
