I see so many blatant racist comments about this server. Why do North American gamers have a problem with South American gamers?
I always see things like:
“I don’t invite ragnaros players because they’re bad”
“Such and such player from ragnaros is holding us back”
“This guy can’t even speak English jajajajaja”
The Internet segregation needs to end. MLK would have definitely included Latinx as part of his movement if this had happened then.

i have no problem per say but noticed its a bit of a gamble with that server.
people will be really bad or really good with no middle ground.
since theres apparently more really bad than really good ppl end up not taking that gamble a lot of the times.
has nothing to do with racism, i dont think at least. if they were mostly average to good there would be no problem 
ngl ive been literally carried by some players from that realm - albeit very rarely.
*i also noticed that they are good groups to apply to when youre getting sick of being declined. a lot less ppl apply to theirs so you have more chances to be taken if you do!
theres also the ping factor. i dont have my lovely 20-25 ping when i join a ragnaros group. not a huge deal but def. noticeable.

As a Ragnaros player, I can tell you that even Ragnaros hate Ragnaros 
, there’s some factors, some players don’t have the best internet, language barrier and some are trolls as mentioned here:
However, you need to take on consideration factors like there’s only 3 latin realms compared to the huge amount of servers for US; therefore, it’s easier to blame a server and create a reputation for those servers compared to US realms.
What I don’t like is that a lot of US players don’t know anything about latin america and called us mexicans that I consider Xenophobic and groups with titles like “no rag” , just don’t invite us but checking LFG and just find groups like that it’s another filter that we must do and it feels bad.
I’m genuinely sorry this happens. I personally have no problem playing with anyone and the language barrier doesn’t bother me because I don’t talk much in game anyways. I’m hoping we can end the stigma.
I’ve had a few good runs with Rags. I just ran into my first bad run (ditched key) but it was a 12 RLP

It’s sad I know, because there are a lot of good players on these servers who end up getting discriminated against. And I understand that this probably makes these players less pleased with players on the other realms, so it’s a vicious cycle.
However, I refuse to take the risk. I play with a lot of old people and people who are “bad” at the game, and I love these people. So many times, players from Ragnaros didn’t hold back on them, and I’m just not going to let it happen anymore. It’s much safer for me to go with other realms. I don’t invite Frostmourne, Mal’ganis, or Tichondrius either.
Well, that’ll be spanish but it’s ok and there’s a lot of stories about good runs and there’s a lot of bad too.

Well claiming you have better internet than another country (predominantly consisting of another race) and refusing to play with them because of that is a very privileged and kind of racist statement.
As a native Spanish speaker, I can tell you that no amount of speaking Spanish and understanding or being able to communicate with the average Ragnaros player could fix the deficit of rats’ butts they seem to give about teamwork or putting in the effort.

It’s a personl decision and that’s ok, at least I prefer when a leader just don’t invite and I don’t know the reason compared to groups with “no x realm”, that’s similar to the OCE latency issues and players avoiding those realms.
