weapon speed is irrelevant to rage normalization. It’s generally done as resource/sec not resource/hit. so a 1.25 swing will give x and a 2.5 swing will give 2x rage. You’ll get the same amount of rage over a period of time regardless of your weapon swing. That’s literally what normalization means. Fast, slow, high armor, cloth, crit, glance… you’ll get the same rage over a period of time regardless. The important question is how much we’ll get to work with. Bears still have talents to help them scale rage off crit though

If classic players could think, they’d be playing retail instead of classic. Forcing warriors to consider their buttons before pressing them with infinite resources is too challenging for classic players.
There’s also a lot of classic players who play classic because warrior is the best. They don’t want other classes to have a chance, they want warrior stacked raids.

Yeah let’s just leave warriors as is. Maybe give them some more damage runes in the next phase.
It will be fun when raids are comprised of almost entirely warrior dps. Gonna suck rolling against every other person in the raid except healers though.
At this point I’m kind of glad I stopped playing Warrior. For 3 seasons we complained about not getting anything interesting or fun in our runes, yet now that they’re talking about making some changes that would more easily enable more interesting runes, y’all fight back against it

The fundamental issue is that warrior rage generation is broken overpowered once Warriors start to scale and deal more and more damage, gaining more and more rage, and hence more and more damage. It’s a positive feedback loop and no class has anything like it. The question warriors have to decide is whether they want fun new abilities or broken rage generation, because they can’t have both.
I want fun new stuff, I am of the belief rage being changed will be fine in the long run in exchange for fun new stuff.
Warriors were already the top of classic. If you want to be the absolute top of the charts just go play that. SoD is a chance to do something different. This coming from someone who mained warrior.
Haha the boss takes 400% bonus damage and warriors are executing for alot of damage. NERF WARRS. At least understand a boss before you cry in forums.

Well warriors have an ability called execute. A phase is literally called “execute phase” due to the ability being so strong. Mind blast doesn’t hit any harder depending on mobs hp.
Obviously having a 400% dmg buff during a phase where warriors can execute they will see drastically more value.

Atleast the other guy trying to flex had decent parses. Honestly id probably end it all if I sucked as bad as you do on ret paladin the literal easiest wrath class there is you line up like 5 buttons and press when it lights up my 4 yr old niece could parse better than you.
I dont even attempt to parse on sod and my parses are likely better than yours, cant post links but look up topsycrits on cs if you’re doubtful. Yeah hunter parsing isn’t difficult but either is warrior. Again take the L

Fun new abilities? Can you list those “fun new abilities” ? The best part of this is we always said our runes were boring AF. But yet you are not smart enough to realize that this issue is because of the RUNES THAT WERE MADE BY THE DEVS. They stacked warriors with passive dmg % increase which in turn makes them gain more rage from more dmg.
We asked for some fun abilities to use and they stacked us with passive runes that CREATED this issue. SO do us all a favor and stop talking.

So you think it would be ok if they went halfway through the game with paladins using mana and then swapping to say holy power? The fact they are trying to change something this big midway just shows how stupid they are.
If they had changed things prior to the game starting it would be different but this whole wishy washy completely change the game every 2 weeks is pathetic.
And paladin will still never do half the dps of a good warrior, even after this “nerf” lol
