Idk, I didn’t play SL.
If you’ve ever lost $40, then you’ve played it
I play Warhammer 40k does that count?
I agree with you.
Kul Tirans had paladins guarding Admiral Proudmoore in the Warcraft 3 campaign final mission.
Night elves already started the process for their introduction with the Paladin class hall in legion
Worgen is more a druid power so I don’t see that interfering with anything on the Paladin side of things… but my worgen lore knowledge isn’t as great compared to other stuff so I could be wrong there. But I think a worgen Paladin would look great in pally gear
Who do you play as and why is it the Ultramarines?
Ultramarines are for milk drinkers. Guardsmen is an army with some hair on its chest, specifically Kriegsmen.
Gilneas had Paladins in Warcraft 2, no reason for them to be all gone. Secondly, it’s not like they couldn’t learn to be them.
Ah Yes the Death Corps of Krieg and their 17 second life expectancy.
Just say you don’t know a lick of lore.
Light is legit about willpower. The whole holy nonsense they push for the light is some silly Alliance headcanon. There is nothing special about using ‘the light’ and there never will be.
Shocking, I know, but there’s such thing as different religions in WoW and utilizing different magics via those religions are entirely possible.
Not surprised, however, that Alliance players as usual try to push everyone being the exact same, bland, and boring method of using something else.
And what a glorious 17 seconds it will be.
So… is the idea we stab a Paladin until it goes Void??
It’s not headcanon, it was established lore that was changed to allow Horde races to be Paladins.
Draining the light from a Naaru- Blood Elf Paladin
Being a Druid who praises the sun- Tauren Paladin
Worshipping an Aztec T-rex- Zandalari Paladin.
Which one of those three are about willpower?
Well we can only do that so many times so we gotta find something else
Didn’t the Blood Elf paladin lore change? Or are they still sucking down Naruuto juice?
Yep. It’s headcanon. And here’s my source.
Alliance players can play pretend that ‘the light’ is special all they want. A direct quote from a dev of World of Warcraft, however, shatters that.
‘Faith’ can give someone the willpower to cast it, sure. But it doesn’t require faith. It all comes down to willpower. Just like any other magic aside from druidism.
Developer note: praising the sun too hard now causes all Tauren Paladins to be instaported to the Dark Souls universe…
See that’s where the dev is wrong. Scarlet Crusade? Evil? They’re just doing the good Light’s work.
So by that Logic, anyone can be a Paladin, why isn’t everyone a Paladin then?
That’s an excellent question. Everyone should be able to be paladins & priests. Glad we’re on the same page!
Edit: Though it’s been shown in lore that void and light mixed actually explode. So they’d be a class/race combo that would actually NOT make sense. Regardless of willpower. So not them.
Give me Gnome and Mechagnome Paladins!
