Race class combos

Well man, that DOES seem to be the goal of the current writting team at least in regards to the treatment of the Human Heroes…

The thing is that people need to get about this is Warlocks are individuals. Its not about the draenei accepting them. A lot of the warlocks that are human, or Orcs dont accept them. But the individual warlock can do whatever he wants. Some things like Draenei warlock need to happen, human night elf shaman. But some restrictions do need to stay.

Hmm… I’d have to re-roll my Draenei mage into a Warlock…

That’s typically my point. We only need there to be one for it to make sense as a choice. Needing a lot at this point is a needless metric.

Undead Shamans don’t make much sense.

Now for the others I wouldn’t mind like Undead Paladins, Void Elf Druids, Night Elf Paladins, and etc that atleast does make sense for Race Class combos.

Why not? They’ve got one foot in the spirit world already. Communing with the dead as a forsaken shaman would basically be the magical version of them leaning over and yelling “YO CHARLIE, YOUR DEADBEAT GREAT GREAT GRANDSON WANTS A FAVOR FROM YOU.” :stuck_out_tongue:

Best case scenario, the Elementals don’t care about undead (doesn’t seem like they would).
Or they make deals like Goblins.
Worst case, they are just Dark Shamans.

The only human shaman that seem to be lurking around were the Twilight cultists.

Even if you get a select few, they would be outliers in the general society and lore wise, would have no where near enough influence to justify them becoming a playable class within the race. The Dreanei are not the humans, who are involved in many of the accepted and forbidden arts. They are almost defined by their reverence for the light so without a lore addition it probably won’t happen, nor will it make sense.

And the Night Elves already have their natural/element class with the druids. Shamans seem redundant.

This is totally false what your saying doesnt make any sense. Period.
Didnt even read past the first sentence.

No I read it, I just entirely disagree with it. Just because you get a few warlocks in the race does not mean it’s going to become playable class. Case in point, Delas Moonfang. She’s a light worshipping Night Elf Paladin and yet how many Night Elf Paladins players do you see running around?:face_with_monocle:

Even if they are outcasts, lore wise there would have to be enough acceptance or those willing to learn justify the class. No different then the return of NE mages and DH’s, or Troll druids, or Tauren Paladins. This isn’t a new concept.

Yes they are individuals and can make there own choices, but everything we know about the Dreanei is that they are as dedicated to the light as the Night Elves are to Elune, and they want nothing to do with the fel. Until a lore chance happens, that’s just what it is.

I’m saying I didnt read past your first sentence.

Then don’t engage in public debate if you don’t want a response or plan to read it, especially in the story fourms. Your time would be better spent getting that lvl 12 toon up to max.

This is part of the problem. If Blizzard abided by their own restrictions then there would be far fewer of these threads. Instead Blizzard teases people by showing them these race/class combos in game and then acts shocked when people want to play them.

If Blizzard didn’t want certain race/class combos to exist all they had to do was not add them to the game and say for example: “There are literally no Night Elf Paladins in existence.”

Bwemba is a mascot character and will remain at lvl 12.

I agree, with Delas being a good example. If it’s not supposed to exist then don’t show us. Doing so just opens this door.

We have Kul Tiran Tide Sages now

This is just a bad metric for deciding if there should be a class. The player is an exceptional, unique hero. There should be no problem with them being an outlier.

Looks at Demon Hunters.

Just like the Pandaren DK follower horde could get in WoD.

Which I found their “not enough population” excuse kinda funny considering that lorewise, the PC DK is the only one that goes through that experience for each race. I highly doubt those Argent prisoners that happened to be your characters best friend before your death had so many best friends of different names. I’m sure there would’ve been one Pandaren from the Wandering Isle that went off to explore Northrend and got into some trouble. I mean (High) Blood Elves were brought to near extinction in WC3 yet they are one of the most played races.

When you have ten thousand outliers, they aren’t outliers any more.
