Race Change Heritage Armor Quests? Interesting

In the most recent hotfixes post, I could not help but notice an extremely interesting line:

Using a Character Boost, Race Change, or Faction Change no longer disqualifies the character from doing Heritage Armor quests.

Does this apply now to all Allied Races, becoming a full departure from how these quests were done in the past? Will this also apply to Earthen once TWW comes out?

None of that mattered for the core races anyway, so I’d guess it’s a change for the allied races. Nice update if it is.

Nice, I didn’t see that anywhere.

unless something has changed this is for the original races what the op has posted

To receive the special Heritage Armor transmog set, you must level your Allied Race character to level 50 and complete the Heritage quest: Dark Iron Dwarf, Highmountain Tauren, Kul Tiran Human, Lightforged Draenei, Mag’har Orc, Mechagnome, Nightborne, Void Elf, Vulpera, Zandalari Troll. These transmogs are received after completing the required quest, rather than the achievement.

Restrictions

The following will prevent you from receiving your Heritage Armor:

  • Using the Character Boost service
  • Purchasing a Faction Change or Race Change for that character

There is another post where players were asking what had changed to allow them to get the allied heritage armor without leveling to 50.
This change was noted in the July 24th Hotfix.
