Race change and Allied Race tabards

Hi,

I’m aware that if I do a race change/boost I won’t get the allied race heritage armor, but will I be able to get the tabard? I want to change my warrior to Iron Dwarf and I was wondering if I’ll get it after the change or if I’ll be able to purchase it.

No, you have to make a new dark iron dwarf, and the first quest gives you the tabard.

Such a shame, I wish it would be added to the collection for transmog, like the rest of the tabards :frowning_face:

If the appearance is what you want and not the item itself, you can make a Dark Iron Dwarf alt, pick up the tabard and earn the appearance.
The race changed warrior I’d imagine could transmog it after that but not 100% of that.

That’s what I tried, however the tabard appearance does not show of my other characters :pensive:

Are the other characters you’re checking Dark Irons?
The Allied Race tabards are locked to only work on that race.

As someone who’s race changed to an allied race, you can go back to the place as the allied race and get the tabard for your character via the same quest. It will only work for that allied race, though.
