Gonna go out on a limb here but anyone defending Blizzards current actions because “I earned it” and grinded like a NEET for 5 months doesn’t mean anything. It literally does not make you good at PvP. It makes you good at wasting time. Just like Blizzard with these stupid nerfs right before the gear becomes irrelevant.
Fix this Blizzard you are shooting your game in the foot and I know you want those sweet Q2 monies. Well your Q3 is gonna take a hit :^)
It sucks, but it is what is was during the original pre-patch launch. The only mistake blizzard made in this regard was having the 10x honor to start with.
No I was a keyboard turning clicker back then and got a full set with a 50 hour a week job. So, you know nothing. This was on a battlegroup where the horde lost 90% of game, too.
The truth is in 2 weeks it won’t matter and that’s short enough time to leave it as is.

It’s not though. If you think an exact 10x nerf hit it perfectly you are delusional. Even if it’s accurate-ish for bonus honor, we are not getting accurate HK honor, because they rushed out this “fix” without thinking
As a former rank 14 and someone who got it in March, I don’t see any reason to care about what are now ultimately welfare epics for leveling, they were incredible items yea, during content. That content is over and my reward is my Grand Marshal title not the epeen if keeping new 60s in blues and greens. Honestly I think the QQ is coming from the people who have been slaving away in Naxx for months and just don’t want to see people have gear as a way of making themselves feel suppior or even worse so they can get a nice pre TBC GDKP payday. The question Blizzad should he asking is will this move make more or less people play and catering exclusively to the most toxic epeen driven parts of the community to an extent reportedly even worse then it was back then. I just dont see that as smart on their part. BTW were was this screw the casuals mentality

No, it wasn’t. I did full HWL armor and weapins on 3 characters in the original prepatch, and each one took about 3 days or grinding for about 4-5 hours a day. The current numbers are tuned for like season 3 BC, I believe someone dug up an old archived thread saying the actual honor nerf in the prepatch was about 30% ish. It definately didnt take me 180 AV wins @200 honor a win to get a 2h weapon. If anything you had excess honor and needed to farm more badges than anything
As someone who got r14 early on… Honor shouldn’t of gotten nerfed… The gear is worthless outside of for leveling on alts. I have the title that’s all I need.

During the Vanilla - TBC prepatch you had 6 weeks to go not 2 weeks like now. Do you really think with the same honors gain you could earn in 2 weeks what you earn in 6 weeks ?
