The monthly FFXIV>WoW/WoW>FFXIV has gotten kinda annoying like seriously if you don’t like one or the other more power to you just maybe keep it to yourself and don’t make another thread that’s been made like 100 times already.

Like sorry to burst your bubble both Games are great but neither are perfect both have flaws but they also have their merits and well pointing out one games flaws and ignoring the those of the comparison doesn’t prove nothing except maybe that you like fallacies I guess :dracthyr_shrug:

In short please grow up, start acting like adults and you know love your game for what it is not for what some other game is not. LIke life is short spend it having fun playing a game you enjoy playing, not arguing about how little fun you would be having if you were playing something else :dracthyr_heart:

I get where you’re coming from, but this is a video game discussion forum, people are going to keep mentioning it and drawing comparisons, it’s inevitable.

I prefer if people post FFXIV in off-topic but I don’t see why not here. It probably shouldn’t go in class forums for example.

if I were running the show I’d come out on the forum and tell the posters who constantly whine to go play FFXiV. People act like this is a life changing thing.

I find it bizarre people think it’s one or the other, you can definitely enjoy both or enjoy one and ignore the other.

I play FF14 in wow off season, and I play Old school rune school probably the most now a days :nerd_face:, and wow when there’s goals im trying to hit.

I might feel a good bit of disdain for FF XIV itself at the moment, but if that is what people enjoy, then that’s what they enjoy. Tribalism is stupid.

FF14 vs Wow tribalism has been happening for a very long time. Especially during the HR debacle blizzard suffered. Even in the past, games like Rift, ESO, wildstar, etc… they’ve all had defenders posting here, desperately trying to recruit.

A lot of folks want wow to fail, for a variety of reasons. Mostly, it hasn’t. But… for folks here, it’s not going to stop.

I agree with motivations behind this thread I like both game for different parts.

Wow for gameplay
FFXIV for story

This is nothing new. It’s nothing that started with video games. Where I live, in the Boston area, the argument has been going on for decades, which is better, baseball or football.

Even now with the Red Sox and Patriots struggling and the Celtics and Bruins with the best record in their conferences, it’s still baseball or football.

Technically it’s a general world of Warcraft forum for wow topics .

Bit I think blizz does not care as long as people don’t go crazy .

Meaning the discussions don’t get nasty or insulting to either game.

And OP the posts won’t stop. People are lazy they won’t go to off topic when it’s so easy to post in general and also general gets all the attention anyway.

Both are good games and I play both. Some days I more want to play FFXIV. Other days, it’s WoW.
