I have a Spiritborn Friend who just decimates everything in group… meanwhile I can’t keep my Soulrift uptime due to him killing everything so fast. :cry: :sob:

Decrepify and Blood Lance… while very strong combo with high lucky hit chance, are useless against dead enemies.

yea just makes the rest of the game look goofy af. blizz has really been lacking on balance

I got a prot warrior down to 75% health so we obviously needed nerfs

Its funny now fast they pull the trigger on nerfing FDK. If this were Feral Druid buffs they would let it go live, read the feedback, think about it, then leave it untouched.

The developers don’t even look at metrics that they publicly provide that plenty of 3rd party sites are displaying. There is no way they can look at their own metrics and continue to nerf frost in PvP. Doesn’t make any sense at all.

The last time frost DK felt good in PVP was Legion.

It’s been a long dry spell.

There’s no way they’re nerfing it that hard, I could see why for PvE maybe but even then this seems very heavy handed. PvP wise this will 100% solidify frost as the worst spec in the game for pvp

It’s awful. I think I think deathbringer frost dk is the worst spec ive ever played in PvP in a long time. I just tried it out and its fine on dummies but if you step into a pvp match its doing dmg on par with healers during the 2 minute sindragosa they want you to use now.

sanlayn for unholy and blood feels like that, on the dummies i can do impressive numbers, but then you get into arena and its pure chaos trying to get anything to connect or stacked up. meanwhile i spec riders unholy, fall over my buttons because im not statted for it or used to playing it and still mange to pull 1m+ dps in 3s :person_shrugging:

the funny thing is i’ve got this feeling that sanlayn sanguination blood could be the secret counter to the feral/sp nonesense going on atm but it keeps getting nerfed and is now :poop: against literally everything else.

I had since rerolled evoker and was enjoying my time with it, but after seeing the new deathbringer talents it made me want to play my dk once again. And then, as if to laugh in my face for having the AUDACITY to imagine playing this class they clearly do not want people to play, they smash us with another nerf

Meanwhile there’s like 3 other problem specs running rampant. Why is this class even in the game again? To be the monthly pinata? So beyond tired of this bs

IMO FDK should not be allowed to even turn WM on. The spec is that much of an embarrassment.

Even if you dont pvp, consider quitting. I really dont know why im playing with this perpetual beta tuning and absolute garbage dungeon pool.

This is why you don’t buy the expansion for the first few months. Some of the people complaining in here should have learned that by now.

Waiting to buy the expansion is always the smart move. Beta testing a product that is not ready to cook feels bad.

What exactly are the issues for DKs in PVP that are making people post this kind of thread? :thinking: Granted, I’m more of a casual PVPer - I don’t really go for higher ratings, and I rather prefer playing BGs than arenas.

how much haste does unholy need to have to be very good? i tried my unholy spec with 18 percent haste but i can barely do 800k during its burst phase.

the general rule of thumb is 20% to feel good, but that is a bit old fashioned. lets say you get an on use haste trinket, you could drop haste and stack mastery instead, then use the trinket to pop back up during a burst phase to have 20% haste and whatever mastery. you can also just forgo haste and stack mastery with a slower build, while it is more punishing of mistakes like fat fingering, mastery stacking is better if more of your damage comes from passive sources like dots and pets, while haste works better for melee builds that use CS/wounds. mastery builds are always better in a multi-target situation.

i think you are right. i tried unholy sanlayn which is more of a disease build and maybe mastery is indeed better. even when i spammed vampirtic strike during burst phase i can barely break 700k on 622 ilvl.
