i recently switched races to Tauren and i was like eww lol, im going be be switching again asap, it has a cd but is there a way to check how long i got left to switch races again?
i think i might be pretty close.
If you bought the purchase very recently, you can try and see if you can get the purchase refunded. FAIR WARNING. Sometimes this will temporarily lock a character, but itâs a pretty easy fix outside of the wait time for your ticket to be answered. You can give the refund request a shot here:
They donât base their response times on when they get around to the ticket. Players are not punished for Blizzardâs ballooned wait times. They base the âimmediateâ on when the player submits the ticket and request. If it takes Blizzard two weeks to answer that ticket, they base it on the time between the purchase and when the player submitted their ticket.
The support article says that if you are unhappy with the race you have chosen, a GM may be able to help. It doesnât place any conditions or caveats on the cause of that unhappiness. It certainly doesnât say anywhere that buyerâs remorse is a disqualifying factor.

If you are unhappy with the race or name you chose for your character these cannot be changed in-game, but Customer Support may be able to help if contacted immediately after using the service. Please note that assistance is not guaranteed.
The good thing is that itâs not your call to make. Nor is it any of our places to dissuade someone from at least trying an option that Blizzard left open for them. Assistance isnât guaranteed, but their own article that they made available for public consumption offers it as an option. Especially since at this point, nearly everything is refundable so long as itâs within their timeframes.
Even the SFAs have been known to let people at least try an appeal they donât think will amount to much or attempt to inquire about a refund or this or that. The Powers That Be left a path open for people to try, no matter how busy the queues are or how slender of a chance something might be. We can only give a player the proper channel to proceed with should they choose to. It never hurts to ask.
