As a solo pvp’er I would like to have the option of competing against other solo pvp’ers and not premade groups when selecting a quick match. As it is now I have no choice other than fighting against a premade group or leaving the battleground. I think that premade groups in quick matches provide unfair advantages. For those solo pvp’ers that want a greater challenge the option of joining battlegrounds consisting of premade groups should also be a choice.
Maybe they could make a merc type buff if you only want to go against solo queue players. If you don’t choose this option, you will be placed in the regular queue with everyone else. They could even add it to the UI. I still think splitting the player base would be bad overall, but none the less that’s my idea on it.

I agree there should be a solo only que. but believe me the premaders would find a way around the rules they are after easy wins not competition

Indeed they would. Ten of them would mic up and all solo queue at exactly the same time. But believe me, if there were solo only and premade only queues, 95%+ of the players running premades would stop doing it, because the unfair advantage they all claim isn’t the real reason they run premades would be gone.

There is also an important distinction that needs to be brought up. A group of 2-3 friends playing together for the sake of fun is not what I would define as a premade. A group of 5 formed for the objective of curbstomping pugs and harping on about “challenge” is equivalent to the people who gank lowbies.
Sadly the former is held accountable for the actions of the 5 man groups.

They reduced it to 5 as a compromise. When will people start gitting gud instead of complaining… 5 people in a BG is great if you’re coordinated but there’s at least 5 other potential idiots that could case some problems. Many of the BGs are 15 mans even.

So you really believe 1 person (advocating 1 since we are talking about SOLO QUEUE) can have a chance vs a coordinated group of 5 people? Its clear to see which group you belong to - the group who gets its jollies from faceroll wins in bgs.

This is not about right or wrong. We are just asking for a choice of being able to do bgs via solo queue without the potential of running into premades.
Two problems if they did this:

The premade que would be wonky unless you came with a full premade because of matchmaking.

It would be basically become rated bgs without the rewards. While there are premaders who like competition a lot of them like the path of least resistance.

Rofl. I can’t even take this seriously. I solo queue and do just fine on my toons… Although I can put out damage 
Ok so if I queue by myself but my team happens to be farming their GY and we only have one crown in the group… does that make us a premade? Some player are just good and they get rewarded by having Gyfarm lols. Sure that sucks for the opposite team but in order to win someone has to lose…

I hope all of you asking for a solo queue give classic WoW a chance when it comes out. When you see the struggle of completing what are simple quests in retail you will see not only the value of grouping, but the intent behind MMORPGs in the first place.
IOW: You’re doing it wrong.

This is one reason I play a lot of alts in WoW. I have no attachment to any single character because there’s no sense of accomplishment any more. Nearly everything has been dumbed down, trivialized, simplified…
Most people are, solo or grouped. Personally I just want to get daily stuff over with and move on to other things. I’m sure I’m not alone.
Oh just add it so we can find the next thing people will blame.

lol, there is a way around it if blizz stop premade to que against solo. Some of you might not know but there used to be a addon that allowed people to solo que but as a group. So you would all select ready on the addon and it would automatically que up the whole party together to que for a bg and if everyone got the same bg it would accept the que.
