Guys you do not realize what Blizzard is doing with these “free transfers” same crap happened in TBC, transfer off a server, after 3 months its dead from the hype, now no one is on their server and they have to “PAY” to transfer back. t
No, you are completely wrong. Blizzard is the problem here, not the player. They allowed unlimited server transfers with no cap to milk that sweet cash and you refuse to acknowledge that and blame the players for not wanting to abandon the people they play with. You’re a complete sociopath or a repulsive forum troll.
Why do you feel the need to come in here and try to tell people they are wrong for voicing their frustrations with the solutions offered by a company?
If you pay for a service, you can ask the company providing that service for changes. Not everything has to be a debate. You coming into any thread like this to say essentially “Blizzard is right and the solution is correct” doesn’t do literally anyone good, you or others. So why bother?
Do you have anything to actually say to refute the fact this is a “you” problem and your solutions impacting others mean nothing to you? You want to talk about transactions. The very community involving servers and players other than you and yours mean nothing to you. But I’m the sociopath, I’m the one with all these deep rooted issues. Your very thread sums up to:
“I didn’t care about anyone else until their decisions impacted me.”
“People who don’t agree with me are sociopaths and trolls, how dare they not echo what I have to say.”
Tell me, are you like this with your friends and family? Or do I get the rare pleasure of seeing this side of you?
Some people just enjoy getting a rise out of people, and there are no moderators here to stop them, so it’s prime season for obvious trolling.
Pot, meet kettle. I’m getting called dumb, sociopathic, and a slew of other names because my opinion isn’t an echo chamber to what they want to hear. So I ask you the same question. Why do YOU feel the compulsory need to tell me because I don’t share your thoughts and views that I don’t deserve the same courtesies you are preaching to me?
Yes, my refute is that Blizzard should not have allowed unlimited server transfers with no cap to intentionally allow servers to become overpopulated, force people to move off if they want to play, and then buy their way onto a high pop server down the road when their new server dies off, therefore, this is a Blizzard problem to fix, not a player problem to fix.
Because that’s the reaction you’re trying to get.
You make assumptions, do you have anything to base them on? Evidence perhaps? Or does it truly bother you that I can actually take accountability and make decisions of my own free will instead of screaming at Blizzard?
It’s not that you have issues man. It’s that you are telling people to do something that may require another 10 players as friends or families to need to transfer. Now those people have friends too, and so on, etc. That might be a solution for some but not for everyone.
No. You’re very open about it.
Do you get off on being such an obvious troll?
Let’s think about it this way… Let’s assume that there are 11,000 players on Grobbulus… I know there are more… at 11,000 players paying $15 per month that’s $180,000 per month… and let’s assume you are spending $20,000 for a new server, which is definitely high… there would still be plenty of profit to go around!!! Come on Blizzard!!!
they will get that all back from paying to transfer back to their original servers after using the free transfers ><
@Nickole
I have known a few people like you and I just wanted to say im sorry. I know you must have a very lonely life, i hope you find a friend or two some day who accepts you for the annoying, ignorant troll that you are. I am sure it would be very easy for you to transfer to any server because… frankly no one would care where you went…
Since so many servers now have queues, i wonder how much cross realm would actually help. There’s also the issue of cross realm being counter to the design philosophy of classic… it pushes us further towards Retail. I think adding more destination realms to freely transfer to would be a start. Like Myzrael… it should be one of the options.
This post is highly inappropriate and I’ve reported it accordingly. Let go of some of that hate, friend.
You kind of made my point.
You are just here trying to instigate. I asked you why, you didn’t answer. So why? Why does this topic matter so much to you? Why aren’t people allowed to voice their frustrations with you?
I’m here all day if you need to talk buddy.
Ehhh… $20k isn’t a lot when you’re talking about server hardware.
I’m sure they spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on the behemoth servers they ran this game on back in OG TBC and Wrath.
And then they came up with systems that allowed them to distribute the load of a single realm across many physical servers. THEN they were able to drop something like $20k on a new machine to expand the capacity of a particular realm.
Of course, that $20k could go towards Bobby’s yacht, so we can’t have that.
Couldn’t have said it better myself.
