Unrated PvP will now be cross faction! 11.0.7 Update PTR Development Notes:

Na, it wont kill que sync, you’re now able to q it up with your horde friends regardless of faction. this is actually pretty huge

Hmm. Reading it it just says cross faction groups I guess. How does it decide which side to place them on?

Probably group leader’s faction. But I don’t think they have officially killed the faction barrier in unrated pvp with that change.

This change may empower Queue Sync more?

It may, but all in all, it WILL be less lop-sided imo

How so? Because their will be more premades? lol

Perhaps, but your chances of being on the winning side is greater. Not by much, but greater

Holy crap, they’re listening. Being able to queue cross-faction is so nice.

Also buffs to bad racials. Not that many of them are likely to be amazing still, but better than nothing. Darkflight speed stacking might be crazy, and velf racial was already powerful.

This is dope.

I literally just faction transfered most of my characters to play with my friends less than 20 minutes ago. wtaf

IMO, this will solidify people playing where they feel fits them best. This will help communities.

Hmm!!!
Will we FINALLY be able to stop seeing the usuals complaining endlessly about queue syncing? Or will they just start complaining more because it’ll be even easier to be able to queue with their friends?

I’m assuming the group lead’s faction will determine the faction they play with?

An interesting change and hopefully a lead-in to cross faction unrated BGs.

I like that thought. I am pro-communities that offer genuine community.

Lmao the coping in this thread already.

It will likely make syncing harder and sabotage easier cause you’ll split the premade onto the enemy team which I imagine in some cases will opt to sabotage their pug team so that the people they are on disc with can win.

Effectively wasting their own time but that wasnt very valuable anyway if you’re syncing. But maybe they’ll get tired of that quickly.

Group leader faction probably. If that is the case, then this changes nothing other than allowing q-syncers to do cross faction queues together.

The usuals. It’s okay to say Celinthia/Thaedreu. They’re the only person on the forums who gets so triggered about unrated PvP so frequently.

If Blizzard takes away Queuesync how are all the boosters going to make money?

We don’t need this in every thread. Stop.

There is a lot of detail left out. Dungeons got a little more clarification on theirs.

Yes but if it goes by what faction the group leader is as far as what side it places you can avoid the split no? Not sure why they didn’t just make this full cross faction.

I think if the wording is the only change then this will add too issues. But again there is not much detail on how this will actually work.

This is my worry, it’s cool you can group with any faction, but imo just make it full cross faction, group or no group.

So what will happen to Merc-ing?
