Queue bugged or?

Good morning fellow copers,

Last night me and two of the boys decided it was time to get our elite sets. I was triple digit CR, one friend was 0 cr, the other was like 1600. This was around 6-7pm CST.

So we press Join Queue… Wait about 3 minutes for queue pop (which I already consider insane for this game mode, at this MMR and time of day). Take an L, no big deal just a warm up.

Press Join Queue again. At 4 minutes I say ok boys let’s requeue, idk what the deal is. Wait another 4 minutes, no pop. We disband group and reform with my friend as leader, press queue… 5 minutes in with no pop we said forget it and went to do other content.

Please tell me queues were just bugged last night and this isn’t the norm? How does anyone have any CR at all if people are having to wait queues like this?

The average queue time for solo shuffle dps once you get above like 2k or so is around 20-30min

Yeah I’m not sitting a queue that’s longer than the match in any game, that’s just my personal standards. This was premade 3v3 arena.

Most people hit their goals and dipped. I hit 2400 like 3 weeks in. I was sitting 21st spot on arms. I came back now, which was a month later, and I’m only at 105. I think people are just not playing as the season progresses, and it’s going to be even worse in Season 3.

Seems unusual, I am guessing it was longer than normal because your 1 buddy was 0 cr (still in placements) and that usually makes the queue slightly longer but 3s sub 2k is almost always near instant. I would try again this afternoon?
