D2 remaster will introduce a new name system, so that characters with the same name will be possible.
With the upcoming forced transfer to Vanilla Era realms or TBC realms, the chances are high that names will already be in use, therefore forcing players to give up their names which they had for almost 2 years by now.
Is it possible to fix that issue by introducing the D2 remaster, naming system?

Following the addition of the 58 boost, are there any plans to add race changes to Classic for people who don’t want to abandon their Classic character when moving into TBC?
Will the level boosts become available in the pre-patch or on the opening of the dark portal? Thanks for reading!
There is going to be thousands of 12 year olds boosting warlocks/hunters and polluting the dungeon/raid scene while the rest of us spent 8+ days leveling to 60 lol. The hell is this blizzard???
One of the attractions of classic vanilla is the large community feel of larger raids and guilds. Creating a 1:1 server ratio of tbc:classic era will complete sabotage that tenant.
How will group content be viable on many of the servers? You need to be able to do dungeons/raids to gear up for pvp. As a result pvp won’t even be that viable for new players/alts, etc.
Can we just get only a couple servers to start? Worrying about character names can’t continually hold design choices hostage to the point of self inflicted death.

With the pre-nerf boss news, any details on if this just means pure numbers reverted to higher values or will certain mechanics return? I remember lots of Kara bosses having abilities weakened or removed. (Shade of Aran water elementals for example)
Also will Heroic Dungeon trash be pre nerf? (Lots of fun antics and memories with the challenge of this trash back in the day.)

They will pick the worse ones like they always do. Ones that anyone with the IQ above that of a headless chicken could figure out, meme-tier ones, and ones that have already been answered.
Exactly! That’s why people ask stupid or silly questions because they know the real questions won’t even be addressed let alone answered.

Yes they already said that was the plan. Remove BUGGS but leave prenerf everything else.
Will Classic ever become free to play, seperated from a retail subscription?
When the original BC started, the original vanilla Azeroth world didn’t change (although there were changes to the classes, etc.).
When the new classic BC starts (should one choose it), will the classic vanilla Azeroth remain the same?
