WoW forum discords are in fact real, but they do not hold the power OP thinks they do.
They may have, but that’s still not as bad as eating tide pods, recording themselves flipping water bottles or making duckfaces, or calling into work half the time but insisting they deserve a raise.
I love gen discussions, one of my favorites next to alternative music.
Times were tougher back then, tide pods hadn’t been invented yet. Poor things only had lead paint chips

That’s been happening forever, got super bad in shadowlands, it used to be people would bring up politics to derail threads they didn’t like and if that didn’t work you were guaranteed to get mass flagged by those same peoples alt accounts. Like you said its the same people who go on most threads just to be rude or act nasty to people and mass flag anyone who disagrees with them.
