Drac is a well known troll on forums. Seeking attention and giving split opinions just to troll people. Kids that’s why you should never be 52 year old and live in your mothers basement. It messes person up.
Oh this one is easy.
Almost nobody at all is against account-wide ignores. However, there’s a group who vehemently insists that Btags be made public at the same time, which is entirely unnecessary. Nothing wrong with a btag-based account-wide ignore, but making btags public is unnecessary for that.

… I see every person I know imaginable in this thread but hardly any proposed solutions to fixing the WoW forums so it could be a more suitable environment.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I have to side with the OP. Though I do want forum-wide ignores.

I remember seeing some comments in the past where people were wanting to see people’s btags. Clearly not for harassment purposes, just for historical reasons.
I’d love that but also want account wide ignore.

Literally all Blizz needs to do is instruct the Discourse devs to implement our Btags to be shown directly underneath our character portraits. Then link the ignore system through that.
Me apparently. I like to break up the ice in threads when things get heated (i know that sounds odd… heat and ice… anyway).
It just makes things a little less bleh.
A poster is a poster whether they’re classic or not. If you don’t agree with them, you don’t have to reply. If you feel they’re a nuisance, you can simply put them on your ignore list. Separating doesn’t really accomplish anything.
Nothing is really going to change here. The CMs barely visit the forums as it is. They show up to post patch notes and wipe out flags a couple times a day then disappear. The one CM that forgot to hide their profile has like a total read time of 2 hours in the last calendar quarter.

I would think one problem with such a heavy maneuver is that this place would become a bigger echo chamber than it already is.
No doubt people would ABUSE THE HECK out of account-wide ignores.
