Question about subscription and game time from wow token

If I have a credit card linked with a reoccuring subscription (which i currently do) and then add game time via the wow token, it pushes the charge date further by a month for each token added right?

So i could keep the sub linked to the card (cause you know we get free rewards for having a sub sometimes) and use wow tokens in game to push back the charge date by a month at a time right?

Like say my charge date is jan 30th and then i use 6 tokens in game for wow time, my new charge date would be july 30th but i’d still be eligible for the rewards that come out for having a subscription active?

just looking cause last time I missed out on the mount since normally i cancel the sub after its billed, where as this way i could keep the sub active while pushing back the charge date with wow tokens if i don’t have enough on the card yet for the full 6 month cycle.

doesn’t always happen that i don’t have enough but it has happened in the past and i had to cancel the sub before the reoccuring billing date to avoid a failed payment. (and i has a decent bit of gold on my account. not millions but decent enough)

Correct.

The sub plan isn’t billed until all time is used up.

Yes!

I imagine you are referring to the promotions like the Sprite Darter outfit and the previous mounts that were given to those with active 6 month subscriptions?

It isn’t exactly that the subscription just needs to be active to qualify for those promotions. It generally would also need to have charged or be pending charge within the period of the promotion. So if you continue to add game time from purchasing WoW Tokens it won’t bill until that time has expired. If that is outside the promotional window, you likely won’t earn that promotional reward.
