With the war going on in Ukraine I as a way to show my support for Ukraine was thinking of making a alt named Ukrainevixen is this going to be looked down upon and reported.
I want to avoid politics as much as anybody in the game which is why I am asking.
Honestly, I would stay away from that as it’s a very sensitive topic.

On a non-RP realm, I would say it would be fine. But really, no one here would be able to give a definitive yes.
If you want to avoid politics, then unfortunately, in the current climate, you may want to stay away from it.
Anyone can technically report anyone else at any time. The answer you’re looking for is will you get actioned for it, I suspect.
As politics aren’t a greenlit subject even in the best of times, I personally wouldn’t risk it.
I’m not too sure that anyone is going to be able to tell you if other players will report it. Whether or not it’s against the rules might be a little bit of a grey area too. I totally get wanting to show support, but there might be some better options available through non-for-profits to do so.
It’s certainly possible that Blizz might come out with their own fundraiser too (it’s certainly happened for other worldly events in the past) and you can also show your support with that if they do!

You can update your profile pic and/or cover photo on Facebook and other social media to show your support; a lot of people are doing that. You could also follow President Zelensky on Twitter. He tweets a lot about the situation and I’m sure he appreciates knowing that people are paying attention. His Twitter following is skyrocketing and has more than doubled in a few days. There’s also an official Ukrainian Twitter account.
You can do it. Whenver I see someone with a Russian or Ukrainian name I will speak Russian to them… Such as Russian Power from my server… I know him. He is not Russian and he cannot speak a word of Russian. So if I see someone running around with a name like that I will try to speak them to connect.
So if I speak to you and you have that name, mad at you then block. Cuz it is like why? Do it cuz you have the viewpoints…not just to be woke.
Most Ukrainians and Russians like each other. This is not about Russia vs Ukraine. Most Russians are against this happening. This is about Putin vs the world.
This belongs in general forums. Submit a ticket if you have a question about name. You dont have to do this. And Ukrainian… The word for vixen is the same as in English. Just diff letters.

Most likely. People can report names they don’t like all they want. Blizzard has the final say in the matter.
There isn’t any automatic rename or anything like that. If the name is reported and Blizzard is okay with it, you’ll never hear hide or hare of it.
Using the name isn’t really avoiding politics. Personally I’d err on the side of caution and not take the chance.
Actually, they have the right to ask here as it is a CS issue. They are asking for clarification.

Not sure where that came from or the directed hostility, personally It doesn’t bother me. Show me where I said I would report it? Political-based names are reported quite often, based on what feedback we get here.

I am guildless on this character cause it is my forum alt my main is in fact in a great guild with other alts of mine not that it matters to the question I asked.
