Bumping in case anyone from Blizzard would like to address this rather MAJOR problem.

Add me to the broken list. Landslide does about 145 damage and Rockfall does about 300 damage. Igrul the Scalebane can’t die and is stuck at 1 hit point.
Abandoning the quest and logging out does not help.
Beating a dead horse, yes this is still a problem

This quest is STILL broken. Blizzard this is an absolutely terrible look. You have a quest that’s broken that STOPS you from unlocking an allied race within the game for new players.
YOU NEED TO FIX THIS NOW!

I’m having the same issue as well. I wanted to make a high mount Tauren Druid, but I guess I just can’t?

same, Level 43 and these Allied race unlock quests do not scale and are impossible currently below level 70.

Friend is trying this right now and he cannot complete it at level 50… TF?

I just tried the quest and I see that this has been broken since at least September with nothing being done. Great work!

1/16/25 still broken cant die. do almost no damage to the mobs, cant be bothered to waste my time leveling to 70 to unlock the race i want to level as… Great job blizz!

Definitely still an issue for every quest in this chain that has you inhabit a little “vehicle” person. Very frustrating, but if you’re willing to spend 30 minutes on each you should be able to complete them eventually.
There are already no stakes because you can’t die, so there’s an easy fix: just let the player do more damage.

Not a single word fromblizz. Can’t play with Highmountain Tauren cause I can’t waste my playtime with it

It’s not a fix, but if you gather up as many small fry in the cave as possible and wipe out the 15 needed, an NPC will come thru and 1 shot the big guys for you.

I’m having this same issue still. This is absurd and I know people have sat and done this but how do you even have the patience for it??

This quest is still broken. If Blizzard isn’t gonna bother to fix anything at least give us an option to auto-complete these quests so we can access the Highmountain Tauren… come on guys, a toddler could probably do better…

I wonder if they plan on removing these quests with the next expansion. May explain why they are not fixing this issue.
Is there anything that can be done? I want to unlock this allied race but I’m doing 200 damage. 
I paid for faction change for another character that had the appropriate level. They only make changes that make them $, good luck. Lol.
i only do 48 damage
