I brute forced my way through the first portion. However, it seems like all the quests in this line suffer from the same issue.

I did a little experiment. And found out this is definitely tied to your ilvl… A huge oversight methinks. Do this quest when you get a little bit up towards what Legion’s items were. I originally did this at 40, no sauce on the damage. But at 60 with item levels much higher? It’s doable.

Trying to do this today, lvl 48 DK , and it won’t work. I can’t die, but also it would take me a year to kill the mobs. The little ones can die, - still takes a bit - but the big ones i hit for 20 minutes straight and they got to maybe half. Also the spells only cast in a random direction.

It is absolutely insane Blizzard has not fixed this issue yet.

I tried to do this today with my level 45 Shaman. It’s still broken. Unfortunately, I don’t have any higher-leveled Horde characters, so I guess the waiting commences.

Okay. Pro tip. Gather the entire cave and just spam mash 1 and 2 on your spot as it comes off cool down. It takes a while, but if you kinda spin in circles while you do it, there’s so many mobs on you, you end up hitting them with 1 fairly often, and if you slam 2 right where you’re standing it hits all of them. Since he won’t die, you can little just face pull the entire cave.

Ever since the end of DF it’s always something with this game. Every single update/hotfix there’s just more and more bugs and when I think they’re something new I find out it’s been going on for months. Wtf is going on at Blizzard? You guys go back to doing cubical crawls?

Still bugged today, i set up a macro to just do the attacks and walked away after collecting all the mobs

Yep… well I am trying to do this quest now, but I am sitting at 1 hp health with the mobs and bosses with over 200-300k health and im barely doing 100 damage. im level 60…

Still bugged its almlst like Blizzard is.a terrible game company and doesmt care about a quality product as much as they do.about makimg money any other company would of.fixed this in a week Blowzard doimg what they do just lettimg it fester

Still bugged but it didn’t take as long as I expected.
This garbage is still broken. Someone’s math failed hard and they didn’t account for possible level squish making each ability only do 1 damage per 5-6 seconds. Once again, Blizz doesn’t care about fixing anything, just keep polishing the current content a little and shove it down their paying customers throats.
While this quest might not get as much traffic as more “critically” bugged newer quests, it is more broken than anything else they are working on by MAGNITUDES. 20-40 mins to kill 1 mob using the proper mechanic? that’s unforgivable.
