Cannot click on any of the Beleaguered mobs and cannot continue questing on this character until this bug is fixed.

Yep. Been bugged for weeks. Still not able to interact with the explorers.
Ok , I am treating this as the main thread since it has the most posts.
I experimented with this quest and I noticed 2 things.
The explorers on the lower road around the cave , stop interacting when you put the quest on the quest tracker, however , I was able to find 5 explorers that would still interact with me on the higher places in the valley,
There are 3 across the bridge from the main camp on the right , 1 at the base of a tree , 1 in the ruined tower and 1 on the edge of the balcony that still work.
Then there are 2 on the hill up high to the right of the cave that also still worked and I was able to complete the quest!
But you were right , the 3 down low are bugged and will not give me a chat window.
/ reload ui did not work, neither did flying out of the immediate area and back.
