Quest "SI:7 Report: Lost in the Woods" impossible as of 11.0.0

Since Patch 11.0.0 came out yesterday, the Alliance quest “SI:7 Report: Lost in the Woods” is impossible to complete because of scaling issues. Enemies are dealing excessive amounts of damage to Rell Nightwind and he’s not dealing enough damage to them. I can get one of the Hozen down but the second one will kill him, resulting in the quest ending prematurely.

There might be more quests, dungeons, bosses and enemies that haven’t been scaled properly, but this is the first I know of.

Yep i concur >.

I tried twice first time voice over was out of order and both times the 2nd Hozen had killed Rell … his strongest attack does next to no damage and the rest of them maybe the same … not sure hard to tell but by the time the 2nd one shows he only has to hit you once and you are dead normally

Yep! I hope they fix it. Alliance is somewhat harder than the Horde version.

I’ll add the Horde version “Scouting Report: The Friend of My Enemy” is similarly broken. I can get 1 down with Riko and the second kills me each time.

Worked on it all night last night and it seems the Rell vehicle is using player stats. Even after leveling from 17 to 25 and messing around with swapping out gems I couldn’t complete it though. Couple different reports have been made abt it now. Hoping blizzard pulls through so we can continue remix

Same thing here, I’ve done this quest with no issues for all my other toons. Def a bug. Guess I’ll be leaving this quest line for awhile and move along. lol

same. have done this quest probably 25 times, and never even knew the guy would ever take any damage until this patch. It’s impossible now.

Still having the same issue. It’s frustrating because this is a Campaign Quest. Either fix this quest or automatically have us all bypass this quest (automatic complete) so we can continue on with the campaign, which will then allow you to work on it at your leisure.

here 7/26/24… I thought returning to the game I had lost my basic knowledge of how to play the game or just plain suck now… glad to know it is a bug!

Just tried with a character i was leveling the old fashioned way prior to remix release and scaling still didn’t work that way either … 2 hozen equals dead…

SIGH guess I am trapped not leveling up for my old server

Same issue now 4 toons, for wife and I, sent Help req to Blizz, First two now 70, no change.

I have been trying everything I can think of to complete this quest since the patch, but nothing works. The hozen always kill me. I tried reporting it in game and got what seemed like a copy/pasted generic response that sounds like they didn’t even read my report, as the reply said ‘thank you for reporting this quest not tracking correctly’ which is not the issue at all. Then, I was simply told to report the problem here, so that’s what I am doing. Hope they get this fixed! This is my very first remix toon (late to the game, I know), but it’s especially frustrating when there are only 3 weeks left and we are stuck like this for days…
