Quest progress will not update

I’m playing on my warrior on the broken shore campaign. The quest “Intolerable Infestation” to kill 50 demons progress will not update. This also happened earlier in the quest line to do 10 world quests. My UI would not update showing any progress, but eventually when I completed the 10 world quests, the quest completed.

I have tried the following so far:

  • disable all add-ons
  • clear all cache

I’m still sitting on broken shores killing demons while my GUI says 0/50 demons slain. I’m not in a raid group or anything either.

You can confirm you aren’t in a raid group by typing in (with L and P capitalized):
/script LeaveParty()

Disabling addons or clearing caches may not be enough. Try resetting your UI.

Tried that and still no quest progression shown.

You might want to file a bug report about it then. Include that you reset your UI and still had the issue when you do.

The quest states to kill the demons in Faronaar (Azsuna) or Felsoul Hold (Suramar), not in the Broken Shore.

There’s two. One to kill demons in Azuna/Suramar and one to kill on Broken Shore.
