Quest log should be MUCH bigger

This expansion when you said we are increasing the quest log to 35 quest. I said great.

Now I know the limit is just an arbitrary number. Putting a limit on the number of quests diminishes the immersion, because you have to drop quest and unless you’re a completionist (most people aren’t) you will drop quest and never go back to pick them up once you hit max level, and then people complain there is no content. There is content, but you have to go hunt for those quests. Once you hit max level the game changes. Even casual players are rarely in it for the story at max level. Limiting the quest log is self defeating. Especially if you are trying for maximum player hours.

Once I hit max level. I have little interest in tracking down the quests that I had to abandon.

it could be a technical limitation on the software or hardware side.

addon cataloguing everything you don’t have on your person is much simpler. Why do you need a quest that you know, if you’re across the world.

Why do I need a quest in the Azure Span when I am in The Waking Shores? Gee I don’t know? Maybe they are interconnected? I am not talking the myriad expansions. I am talking Dragonflight, specifically.

Blizzard wants us to not whine about lack of content but then limits the content that we can keep track of in our quest logs. I will NOT act like I am in the 1800’s by writing down on paper where my 40 different characters in which quest chain.

They removed the number of quest indicator when they came out with world quests because the math was two hard to track. Just give a quest log that is big enough to only one quest per node. This would make it so you could drop some quests but keep node quest in your log.

And I am not gonna go get a Addon to keep track of quests. This isn’t classic.

why not? is this a moral crusade of kinds? you have to tell us why you’re boycotting if you want us to join in the boycott.

Fight the power1 no blood for oil! Free the whales!

even a scroll like the drop quests could be a fine addition when abandoning option. The dungeon journal isn’t even earned and people love it.

I hate wanting to collect berries but instead wind up skinning bears. I can’t imagine organizing a fresh person to organizing their daily intake of variety over the past expansions.

Is there an auto delete all quest addon? I don’t want any of these and I don’t remember how I got them.

I’d love a bigger quest log. This is my new main and I’ve never leveled a mail-wearing character. That means I have very few mogs and I have (slowly) been questing through every expansion. I routinely hit the limit when picking up too many trivial quests, especially during holidays when there are lots of dailies.

The increase a few months ago was nice but I hope they do it again. I’d love unlimited, but maybe increasing to 50 would suffice.

Why should I have to use an addon when they could make it a part of the game?

I am not boycotting addons. I am advocating for a native system that allows us to have more quests in our quest long.

let me do 1000 quests

because you downloading an addon is faster, cheaper and has fewer moving parts than them changing the entire game just for you.

Small indie company, guys.

God forbid we expect anything from a huge company with a ton of money.
Why don’t they just use that cash to make a better engine and stuff?

you’re giving away business advise for free? you could charge millions for your consulting.

Even I who have very poor eyesight:

It isn’t just for me. I am sure a lot people would enjoy it.

Disagree just finish it 1 by 1 you would end up gathering hundreds of quests

Oh yeah it’s Sunday now :frowning:

What do you mean?

you would pick up all the quests in the world and it would look like some book hundreds of pages and different chapters for each quest picked etc.

Thanks for reading my other responses where I said for the current expansion not all of the previous expansions.
