The quest “Jiro to Hero” is not working. He just stands there and there is nothing to defend him against.

same, when you go to the location the jiro are already doing their ritual and the quest auto updates past talking to them to start it and no mobs spawn.
I am also experiencing this same bug. I see the Jiro with the orb, the quest auto updates and no mobs spawn to defend. I have abandoned the quest and picked it back up, same thing happens

Same here, Hanoa the Exile goes from green to brown when approaching so you’re unable to speak to him to start the event.
I had the 3 starting mobs come out the first time, but then they aggroed someone running to the WB and then haven’t been able to get it to work since. I have disbanded and relogged several times.
Edited to Add: Have also put in an in game ticket.
Bump, same for me. Relogging, abandoning, etc. Doesn’t work.

Same bug, They need to get in game support to actually help.
Just coming here to say the same thing. Not working. As I approach it ticks off Having met up with them and then talking to Hanoa (when I haven’t) and then I cannot speak to Hanoa.

A temporary solution that worked for me for those checking out this thread: I joined a group for the world boss so it phased me to a different realm, left the group so it phased me back to my realm, and talked to the Jiro IMMEDIATELY as I phased in (helps to be standing right next to the Jiro when you do this). This allowed me to choose the dialogue option to start the quest. Hope this helps

Took 4 attempts server hopping but it finally worked for me, I was able to talk to him and start the event. Thank you.

yep this quest is bugged, i`ve waited for like 30 mins there standing doing nothing and there is nothing to defend.

I joined a group that phased me to another server and was able to start the event.
