A temporary solution that worked for me for those checking out this thread: I joined a group for the world boss so it phased me to a different realm, left the group so it phased me back to my realm, and talked to the Jiro IMMEDIATELY as I phased in (helps to be standing right next to the Jiro when you do this). This allowed me to choose the dialogue option to start the quest. Hope this helps

Can’t talk to Hanoa … so can’t finish this quest chain.

Make sure you’re standing right next to Hanoa near the big devourer tear when you join/leave a group to server hop.

For me, Hanoa and the other Jiro were not near the devourer tear, they were several yards away.

Yeah, that should be normal. What I meant was you just have to be next to Hanoa, so you’re close enough to click on them to start the event when you phase from hopping servers.

Yup, SOL here as well. realm hopping through group joining is not working for me.

Same problem for me.

When I go over to the “large portal” area the following notifications come on screen:

“Speak to Hanoa the Exile: 1/1”
“Meet up with the Jiro: 1/1”

I never actually spoke with anyone but is give me credit for both of those as soon as I get to the quest spot and then nothing further happens.

Also bugged for me. Realm hopping is NOT working. Extremely frustrating because this is the gated content to the Bind on Account item to increase Cypher gain.

I’m having an issue with this quest line as well. I am on the Zovaal’s Grasp quest. I told “Hanoa the Exile” I am ready and the group started walking, but then quickly disappeared. I flew on my mount to the location where they are supposed to walk to, but they didn’t show up. I then went back to ~39.39, 32.39 and they are all standing there. They show the speech balloon but when I click on them, I can’t choose “I am ready” or anything.

I tried waiting several hours. I tried checking a day later. I tried joining a random custom group and then leaving the group. Nothing.

Please help!

I can’t even get the quest to pop at all.
Hanoa only speaks in those weird symbols.
My console thing is almost completely full now, it was SUPPOSED to trigger that quest but never did.
