today, Bliz updater did an update. Logged on, my toon Zandee lost ALL quests. I rebooted computer, re-logged, and now she has only 4 quests. Lost a good 14- even those started and not finished. I am leveling… help please
I am seeing 15 active on that character currently.
I suspect this is a UI issue, I’d recommend a proper reset UI to start.
Are they gone entirely, or just from the quest tracker? If they are just from the quest tracker, open your quest log and track the missing ones again.
They are gone from Wow not the UI tracker… They are also gone from the quest tracker.
In the case of the OP, they’re not gone at all. It looks like it’s a display issue instead. It could be the UI or possibly an addon that’s interfering.
That’s why Orlyia suggested the UI reset to remove all addons and reset the stock UI to see if they show up that way.
Mine are gone in certain regions only. Thelsamore… My quest with the elite orges is not showing up an I only had one left. Can’t pick it up again either. Reloaded UI. Ya , so much fun to die a thousand deaths to have the quests not keep track.
Same thing happened to me in Classic, it was Questie, the patch borked something.
Reloading your UI is not the same thing as a Full UI Reset. Orlyia was able to still see the OP’s quests which is why this seems to point more to a UI/Addon issue instead.

The good news is that if it’s just an addon issue, it’s easily resolved!
It seems the small update to Classic today broke some things. You can remove Questie or roll back 1 version and it seems OK. I noticed some other weird things as well. There’s a post in the UI forums here.
Same thing happened to me. Classic updated. The quest icons are again showing on the mini map. My quest log looks different that it should. I think its the Retail Quest log. I don’t play Retail, so I am 100%, but it has the same feel.
I tried to /reloadui and nothing happens. This was after the update.
If it’s an addon issue, then a /reloadui wouldn’t do anything really.
Best thing to do is try disabling any addons and if that doesn’t work, do the Full UI Reset.
Ok… So, it seems if you get rid of Questie, the Quest Log comes back and it updates the quests. So, the update broke something in Questie. (It was the only addon that I disabled and restarted it.)
The addon author probably just needs to make an update to their code to get things working again.
It’s just one of those things that can happen with 3rd party addons
