Quest bug? "Talk to Khadgar in Dalaran to set off for Khaz Algar

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I’m a really new player and googling hasn’t really given me a good answer other than some people were experiencing this too.

I am trying to get the quest line up to the new expansion done, but I’m stuck on the Visions of Azeroth campaign (0/1 Chapters) with the quest title “Talk to Khadgar in Dalaran to set off for Khaz Algar” The quest isn’t clickable, so I can’t make it display on my map. I was able to somehow make my way to Dalaran but Khadgar is nowhere to be found.

Is this a known issue? It seems either bugged or very confusing to a new player.

Same issue. I’ve found numerous versions of Khadgar, but none that will move this quest forward.

(not a new player, but I’ve been away from retail for a bit!)

Glad it’s not just me. Hopefully it just is a placeholder for this evening’s early access.

So this is the quest that will lead you into the expansion and is not active yet, and will be active when the expansion is released.

It should be active for players with early access. Any other helpful suggestions would be helpful.

It’s still early. Early access doesn’t start for another three hours.

The quest to satisfy the TWW campaign stage will be pushed to early access players no sooner than 3 PM PDT.

/bump Campaign says to talk to Khad, Khad has no option other than play movie. Have the epic edition, did the prepatch questline.

The early-access has launched and I still can’t get on to the next step of the intro quest. I have the Epic edition.

I understand that you are not being able to start the quest Slept Like A Rock and continue the Visions of Azeroth quest chain.

Currently, we do not have a workaround or resolution that can be provided.

We recommend trying to reset the interface and see if lets you interact with Brann or Khadgar.

Indeed. If you run into a bug, tech support and the ticket system are not the places to report it. You want to use Bug Report

Indeed, I’ve reported this to the bug reporting fourm HERE as requested. Posting my GM response in this thread for anyone who has encountered this issue, should they find themselves on this thread

Complete the 2 quests in The Portrait Room.

I still have this issue. There are no quests in the Portrait Room for me. I suppose I have done them earlier.
