Same problem. I get the prompt to accept the quest when I first join a time-walking dungeon and do so. When it’s done, the quest disappears from my quest log. I’ve done a few dungeons with no credit so far.

This is why most companies dealing in IT enter a change freeze and don’t do any changes unless it is some kind of break fix before a holiday. I am surprised that anything, no matter how small, was implemented during the maintenance yesterday. It’s the week between Christmas and New Year, when a ton of people should be on to play while off work. Should have been a reboot and absolutely nothing else unless something important was completely broken. Should have been a strict “Don’t touch anything!” policy in place until next week.

GMs haven’t ever been able to fix bugs.
Tried again this morning and the issue seems to be ongoing. Guess that’s not a weekly chest I’m getting this week.
Same here. It’s one of the few ways to get bronze tokens if you haven’t finished TWW, it’d be nice if Blizz reimbursed us the tokens.
Obligatory - yeah me too. Ran the fix utility, patched all four addons. This only seems to be happening for some people. And its only happening on some but not all characters.

I’ve been having the same problem. It seems to disappear shortly after I change zones. So zoning into the dungeon and back out makes it disappear. So does teleporting to the emerald dreamway, my garrison, etc.
It also happens if I take the quest immediately upon logging in. About a second later, it disappears. I wonder if that’s because it is being seen as the previous week’s quest – so the system thinks it has expired and is removing it.
If I automatically get the quest upon zoning into the dungeon, it gets removed a little bit later. If I take the quest from the adventure guide before the dungeon ends and finish the dungeon, I get credit for 1 dungeon. Then when I leave the dungeon, the quest is removed again. As far as I can see, this quest is impossible to progress.
I logged onto a different character that seems to not have this problem. If I recall correctly, this character did not do the quest last week. So maybe this only happens on characters who did the quest last week. I wonder if it’s just that they forgot to update a quest id or something.

Same issue here, has not been an issue on previous classic timewalking weeks during anniversary event.

Same here, first time haveing this happen
They might have fixed it. My alt that was having this issue last night no longer is.
EDIT: Nevermind, it’s not fixed. The quest disappears any time there is any loading screen of any kind. I picked it up in a dungeon and it stayed throughout the dungeon but went away when I left.

Same/Similar issue here. My wife and I were running dungeons yesterday, should have had 2/5 marked as complete - but instead the quest had disappeared from our quest log.
This morning I did the trivia quest from Historian Lore - after I gained xp, the quest disappeared from the log. I watched the ! appear over Bobadormu’s head after I got the xp gain.

Me too! I have done way to many time walking dungeons for this but have no quest. Back at zero when I reaccept.

Knock on wood, but I think the bug is fixed. I’m at 3/5 TW dungeons, as opposed to the one, and getting a pop up to reaccept the quest.
I changed literally nothing, I just did the quest again after doing the Winter’s Veil daily, doing a Delve and now doing TWs while farming crests.
Try it again and see if other folks are getting it. May need to relog before it sticks.

Huh, that’s real weird. i tried at around 9 AM my time, didn’t work, did the other stuff, it works.
It’s the Mastery gem from Siren’s Isle all over again. I wish I knew if i did something to make a difference.
