Silvermoon Procession and Ritual of Oaths
On Sunday June 25th, The Sunreavers, having recently returned from a mission to the Dragon Isles, lead a procession through the streets of Silvermoon City. Those who rode did so with pride, as they new that at home or abroad, they fought to preserve the thalassian way of life.
They made their way through the streets and to the Court of the Sun, where they dismounted and gathered for the beginning of the Anath’Atathion, or Ritual of Oaths, the official launch of the Summer Solstice festivities of Quel’Thalas.
One by one, citizens and guests were invited to step up to the sacred fired, cast their handful of ashes, and swear or renew an oath, either privately or publicly, for the coming solar year.
Over the next few hours, scores of individuals partook, and as the Sun set, the sacared flames, excited by the addition of one handful of ashes after the other, lit the Court of the Sun.

This was a lovely thing to see on my first day back in the blood elf RP community after many years. I really missed this kind of experience. I had a great time and am excited for future events!

Midsummer Fire Festival Comes to a Close in Quel’Thalas
On Tuesday July 4th, the Midsummer Fire Festival came to a close with one last event, hosted by the Magisters of Quel’Thalas: the annual Fireworks Spectacular.
The festival grounds were prepared just outside the great Shepherd’s Gate, with food and drinks aplenty, served by attendants.
Guests filled the festival space and enjoyed good drink and good conversation as the Sun slowly set and Magisters began to gather high atop the walls of the city.
Then, as the bells chimed 6 o’clock, the Magisters began casting, together in a well choreographed manner, and filled the skies with arcane displays of many colors.
Event organizers from the Ashen Court would like to thank all those who participated in any or all of our three Midsummer events this year! Hope to bring this back next year, better and bigger than ever, and continue to provide quality Silvermoon City role-play.
