I have a level 120 Dwarf hunter I want to race change to a Mechagnome and I get a warning that I wont be able to achieve the heritage armor set but I do have a new level 24 Mechagnome.
If I do a race change with my level 120 dwarf hunter to a mechagnome will my level 24 new mechagnome toon not be able to achieve the hertitage armor at level 110? Or is that warning only pertaining to my level 120 hunter?
It’s just a warning for your hunter. In fact, if your new Mechagnome gets to 110 (without a boost or race change) then not only do they earn the heritage armor, but your hunter will still be able to use it too.
It just is warning that your hunter won’t be able to unlock it 
I was nervous when I read it so I wasn’t sure! You said without a boost, heirlooms used on a new toon is NOT considered a boost correct?
Correct. Heirlooms are totally fine I just leveled up a new pally on an allied race using heirlooms and had no problem at all unlocking the heritage gear.
