Bye, Bye have a nice time in classic. Try to remember it’s not vanilla.
Thanks. I never did vanilla so I wont now the difference.
I don’t think of it as poor treatment. I don’t think they owe us endless explanations.
Most of the time the the response they give us isn’t an explanation at all.
Which is why someone with my attitude has less problems. I don’t expect explanations so I don’t get angst if they don’t give them.
And the purpose of the Q&A is?
Well OP, you hit it on the money. Just FYI.
Lol I didn’t think it was possible to be even worse than usual but here we are. I’d say I lost faith but that happened a while ago.
I’m so happy about there being 0 cosmetic challenge rewards especially after the terrible mog design this expansion. /s
Expected nothing and got worse than that.
This topic is still relevant.
We’ll keep waiting for this Xpac to get better.
Ion will defend the “reasoning” behind the portal removals lol.
Almost 500 questions in the new thread only three of them will be answered.
Hah. My response is still applicable too.
If the responses was heart felt and not rehearsed I would take the answers more seriously. But they aren’t genuine. Not in any sense.
Portal question will be a repeat of the blue nonsense on forums.
Mark my words.
Come Thursday when he repeats the same thing that was said in the forums by a blue, I’ll come back to this post and give you 10 points and a golden banana sticker.
They arent worth watching, you can just get a summary on mmo-champ or wowhead after. Save yourself from hearing Lore say “cool” and repeat everything Ion just said.
Which is exactly what happens every single time.
Aliens are also real and the government has microchips inside of all of us that they introduce through the water supply.
Yeah, they select choice questions before the stream as to avoid questions like–
and a lot of fluff that way they can quickly hammer through as many as possible instead of searching through a full thread.
To say its so “Ion doesn’t answer/tackle any real problems within the game.” Is such an amazing stretch of absurdity, not to mention the “real problems” are very subjective on a person by person basis.
It could be something as simple as they don’t have a satisfying answer at the moment, not to mention the Q&A is not a popularity party. Heck, my question is pretty highly upvoted right now compared to the average Q&A questions and I doubt it will get answered. Its pretty random from a large source of different questions.
As with anything, they have to be careful not to phrase their statements in ways that can be misconstrued. GD LOVES taking things out of context literally all the time. Then there is also the fact that there may be information they can’t yet discuss so they have to be vague. Yeah, it sucks, but its not like Ion is trying to be difficult with the community.
Such as…? The new raid is awesome, the new gear vendor is awesome, the new portal room is awesome (removed portals not so much), the extra ring on Azerite is awesome. 8.1 added and improved in a lot of ways, what got worse?
I mean, I don’t know what to say to this. As stated earlier, what people find as important is subjective from person to person. I personally want to hear more about upcoming Allied Races and 8.2 more than anything, that’s important to me and if that stuff is covered in the Q&A then I feel satisfied, if its not however then its not like I am going to say Blizzard does not care about our questions and such. Every person has their own perspective on what is important to have covered and there will always be a group left dissatisfied.
The Q&A isn’t used to actually address any questions, its used to advertise the game on Twitch, simple as that, and when your advertising, you can’t mention anything bad even when you know its bad.
This is why Q&A’s are a waste of time, and I always see the community get involved hoping that problems will get fixed and they never do, I see it every time, when you watch more then one Q&A you start to become aware to it.
It’s always promises, and nothing ever changes, and the real questions are always avoided.
