Pvp'ing on alts feels horrid

I swear PVPing on any of my alts is just not worth it. Gearing is so bad right now and the honour system is rubbish.

don’t need to explain why because everyone knows. you can be 2.3k in 3’s and 1200 in 2’s and just style on kids.

They need to revamp the entire system- this has been the worst expansion for pvp. proper awful. Druid players are unskilled.

BFA class balance and gearing system > SL

In 8.4 I looked forward to the chest actually because it had a 100% chance to contain a corruption which could change up your entire playstyle depending on which corruption you got.

If you mean class balance as in healers being our overlords and dps doing 0 damage until 60% damp then…

Yep… main reason why I don’t want to level a new character.

Thank the idiotic Tier system for PvP gear (literally no reason for it).

There should ONLY be
-Crafted

  • Honor
    -Basic conquest
    -“Elite” conquest (2000 rating to acquire) (minimal ilv difference between basic)

I’ve yet to encounter ANYONE with a good argument as to why this tier system is a good idea, or as to why we should NOT go back to the MoP PvP gearing system (stated above)

I have 6 alts about 200 ilevel. Finish your covenant to get your pieces and honor grind for rings, trinkets and neck. Ill take SL all day everyday over BFA mythic mandatory, azerite, corruption, invasion crap and 24 hours for cap…

Yea I know the feeling. The PvP rating systems and gearing fails anyone who didn’t start with the release of the expansion, which means bad design

  1. nerf honor costs to honor sets. they’re around 3x what they were in cata, which was 26k honor for a full set
  2. shrink the ilvl gap between honor and conq gear, they’re up to 29 ilvl whereas in Cata it was 13 and in wrath it was 19 (between s7 and s8 gear)
  3. remove renown gating to honor gear, there’s no reason to lock casual pvp gear behind rep grinds
  4. remove first two rating gates (1400 and 1600) for conquest upgrades
  5. revamp the flawed mmr system to do matchmaking based on ilvl or versatility

Did not think it was possible but this season makes BFA arena look good. The only people who seem to be happy are the ones playing arena for a living. One minute games are more profitable than 10 minute games.

Some specs are more forgiving in arenas if youre undergeared like ret and holy pala. If youre a warrior with 31k hp gear going up against 36k hp players, youre gonna hit like a wet noodle.

Other than that, farm mythic pluses, q up at 205 ilvl.

I didn’t touch BFA arena so I can’t speak to that… But I’m pretty confident that shadowlands season 1 has been the worst season I have ever participated in.

It’s so disheartening to see good wod and legion seasons and gearing, take a break and then come back and say wtf happened??
