The fodder change is actually a reasonably decent “nerf” in PVP. (quotation marks here because Fodder didn’t scale with haste in Shadowlands and was probably bugged) PVP dhs stack a fair bit of haste, and fodder is both a 20% damage amp and a (bugged) near full heal.
Dude also has a nasty habit of breaking DHs out of CC and such. He’s around an awful lot atm.
That guy showing up 15-30% less is actually a decent nerf.
They stumbled in breathing heavily, frantically dropped their pants, sat down, unloaded a big stinking wretched pile all over DK survivability. Sweating profusely and panting, their eyes rolled into the back of their head and they collapsed onto the bathroom floor unconscious.
So they didn’t do anything at all to Demon Hunters. Who are like Ultra Instinct Goku.
Wrong! Abomlimb shouldn’t even be in the game. Same with Spear of Bastion. The change to Abomlimb was great and they need to now do that to Spear. It should only grip you once just like vortex or any other CC.
As bad as these changes are to DK I’m still gonna play it, I have a good idea in my head how they’re gonna play out. Still absolutely disgusting nerfs.
Where are the DH nerfs people are talking about? Class needs to be nerfed into the ground, it’s designed for mouth-breathers and way too OP without requiring skill
I knew they wouldn’t be able to nerf enh shaman properly.
The whole problem is the 10 stack maelstrom and ele wolves buffing ele blast by 40% along with the rare chance you get both nature wolves buffing lightning bolt by 40%. They should have reduced the maelstrom bonus beyond 5 stacks along with having wolves increase dmg of school by 10% in pvp.
With this, every shaman 5 stack lb or ele blast will hit for 35% less dmg and of course 10 stack will be 70% less dmg.
As for the storm strike buff, it hits for like 3k right now and will now hit for like 3900.
as a long time rogue main… i feel like Exsanginate took way too much of a beating with the nerf hammer… compared to sub needs in which i’ll probably still be able to one shot.
Exsang was the only thing Assa had left to make losing Vandetta feel okay. A 3 minute CD AND a 20% effect nerf makes it useless… not “in line”. Just leave it the way it is and swap it with Indiscriminate Carnage and make it capstone so it can’t be used with Kingsbane or 4 poisons and that’ll be more in line.
I understand this is “temporary” but it needs to be usable by season 1. Or, Assa is screwed in arenas. We lost all our CD’s cause deathmark alone ain’t it. While other classes and specs gained.
This is literally my favorite thread of all time, it has some of my favorite people from the Wow Pvp world, I have read some crazy coments, picked your minds and seen many of your character skill on display. We got Petkick, Chillpills “Insane Pvp monster on Dalaran 5v5’s Normally Beats 5 people back-to-back without resting CD’s”, Ama, Abomb Kennie, Geo, Spyro.
As a wow Pvp Scrub Alt Junkie who just reads the forums and rarely comments, Your all winners and legends to me. keep it up.
Mostly good nerfs imo. The double dip nerf on Death Strike may be a bit much, but they already reverted the Echoing Reprimand buff so it seems like they’re keeping tabs on tuning performance.
with current nerfs in place, deathstrike will heal 12% of the damage dealt to you within 5 seconds. without mortal strike/dampening. death strike will be TERRIBLE if this goes live.
we also sacrificed damage to heal ourselves, as death coil has a lot of value now. blizzard saw that dks were performing well and mindlessly nerfed EVERY defensive ability in our toolkit. excellent work blizzard.
the people complaining about dk are people that do random bgs. think about it, 5 people on one dk, taking 300k damage within 5s, of course death strike is going to heal a lot. it’s a completely difference scenario in arena, esp vs cleaves.
will of the necropolis - is literally a tank talent and shouldn’t even be available to any spec other than blood.
abom limb nerf - unwarranted as it’s not that difficult to play around. i understand it can be an obnoxious ability, but you can outplay it to prevent yourself from being gripped. as a caster or healer for example, you can outrange it. warlock port. blink. sorry shadow priests, but you’re stuck. the damage from the ability was mediocre to begin with. unity is what made it strong, which is no longer in the game.
AMS nerf x2 - i can agree that AMS could have used a nerf with how much it absorbed. i think blizzard should have taken a different approach to this. nerfing a main defensive of ours by 50%, twice, is not how you balance things when the arena season hasn’t even started.
dks do get better defensively as health pools increase, so it will be interesting to see what the outcome is once people are fully geared. i’m hoping blizzard takes the time to look into this again if these nerfs end up being too much.
As I’ve said in other threads and even petkick on this one. Dk needed massive tuning as it was downright broken in the right hands.
Maybe deathstrike didn’t need the nerf but on the other hand dh lock and rogue self healing needs to be hit hard and fast if blizzard wants the game to be about healer double dps.
Hell aff lock dh sp probably a s tier comp with no healers atm that’s how busted the dps heals are.
