PVP Servers (i.e. Stalagg) - Need solutions

You have to considered Timezones (US West Servers, US East Servers, Oceanic, etc.), the fact that the Population “High”, “Medium”, “Low”, etc., updates only once a week, etc. That being said, I calculated the percentage (of US Servers, only), and PvP Servers average 44% “High” Population and PvE Servers average 40% “High” Population, according to the data, that I have here. Still relatively on par, with each other. Considering, us PvErs are restricted down to only a select few Servers, that Blizzard allowed, for us to have. PvE Servers appear to get way more love, on the East Side, as opposed to the West Side (I’m West Side).

Still, I think there’s not enough interest in actual PvP Server Culture, what I mean by that is actually engaging in Skirmishes (or Ganking), out in the open world, like 80% of the time. 'Cause what P2 told me was the PvP Server Culture isn’t something actually accepted by a lot of the player base. They’re most likely just Raid Logging.

Also, keep, in mind, that with the Server Caps, “Highs” could actually be “Fulls”, same with “Mediums” being “Highs” 'cause it’s based off of the Server Cap Increase.

Hahah… this whole thing was a blessing in disguise. Back on day 1 I rolled Horde… and after getting level 10 I came home from work with a 4 hour queue staring me in the face.

So I rerolled Alliance.

Turned out to be a good choice. I did just transfer off from PvP to PvE to keep my sanity when leveling alts… but at least there’s no queues.

you say blizzard created the unbalance… why do you think the alliance left in the first place? That wasn’t blizzards fault.

Ally didn’t “have to” but I agree this is the solution. If you don’t like Stalagg, leave. You have that option, so there’s no reason for you to complain.

I’m fine with it for now. It’s very active Horde side. wPvP is mostly engaging during the leveling journey – I find I don’t miss it at all when I’m leveling an alt. I’m not trying to rank, so I don’t need it on my main.

Most of all, it’s far better than a PvE server: At least there are no Alliance competing for resources that I can’t even try to kill.

My opinion may change at some point (AQ, I’m looking at you), in which case I’ll transfer.

I was Sargeras Horde in Vanilla and the same exact thing happened (with the factions swapped). No big deal.

Alliance have the opposite problem. The alliance AH has less than 500 Auctions. :frowning:

Oh, it’s dead as a doornail for Alliance. I wouldn’t expect any of them to stay. I sure wouldn’t if I was in their position.

Well Blizzard can be partially blamed. They know what “high” pop servers looked like back in the day in terms of #s. Should have limited server pop and faction from the beginning of name reservation. So many people that wanted a “Vanilla” PvP server experience ended up getting a sh*t show of never being able to do pve content because of the ranking system. You can blame the actions of players, but it’s really a series of actions and reactions. If they didn’t have paid server xfers then many would have just quit playing because of the unbalanced server factions. So from a business perspective, you rank in $$ from the xfers plus maintain subscriptions. If we continue this trend without blizzard intervention then I have a feeling most players will end up getting tired of it and server transfering off PvP to a pve realm.

its not alliance’s fault that horde camp every single leveling area

I can’t solve the problem. It’s irrelevant. I dont’ have control over others players, either Alliance or Horde. No1 can’t. Only Blizz can give us solutions.

You can solve the problem, for you. Reroll, transfer, play as Alliance, and so on. You are sitting and whining instead of taking agency of your own fate. Which is why you get no sympathy.

That’s why they let you pay to leave now. This is a player created situation. One side doesn’t like losing so they move somewhere with greener pastures. The real solution would of been not opening up so many servers at launch but if that happened half the people currently playing would of probably never started.
