I was talking about the players not being motivated enough to continously promote the PvP Server Culture. There’s a reason they transferred off.
No what happened was we had the worst horde/alliance ratio of any of the larger servers and had ques.
So when blizzard opened up free transfers our casuals rannnnnnnnnnn away. Destroying our economy with them.
Blizzard did this with their terrible free xfers instead of just opening up more layers
Relying on players to maintain the culture was a flawed practice from the beginning. Looking at the players of Retail it is no surprise this is how many if not all PvP servers have ended up. Players just want the fastest/easiest way to gear up and they think nothing of consequences down the road.
Both of you are proving my point. There’s hardly an audience for the PvP Server Culture. Why open more layers, if the PvP Server Culture is supposed to be “fun”? PvE Servers weren’t complaining about a lack of layers due to getting ganked.
And it’s not really the players promoting the PvP Server Culture (even though I said that, I just worded it wrong), but there just isn’t enough players interested in the PvP Server style Culture, to begin with 'cause those types of Servers are just bad. There’s, also, a reason they don’t exist anymore, in Retail.
If you think it’s about just dying in pvp combat, you’re an idiot or you’re trolling. I’m sure this server was like the rest but worse - flight paths camped, menethil, and all high level zones have a horde super majorty roaming for HKs all hours of the day.
In the end most wanted the pvp server for some good fights and having to always watch your back not to play a ghost simulator when you went out into the world without a raid group. You had horde making permanent residences inside Alliance cities. You had horde during the prime wpvp of phase 2 chilling inside brm afk because there was no threat of them dying.
The horde on your server drove the alliance away and now you want blizz to fix it? Sorry but reroll alliance if you want to pvp
The Stalagg horde were there worst when it came to filling the forums with ‘quit or reroll’, or breaking the in game language barrier to spam it in /yell.
If you are asking for the other side to quit or reroll- and they do that- it is indeed your fault.
Roll ally, this is a player made problem. If your server or any server has too many horde. Then that’s because people wanted those OP racial’s more then a balanced realm. You can’t have your cake and eat it to bud.
be a guild monkey and farm for them is real fun…lmao…no thx.
It’s the problem with stats
When your casuals can look online and see you’re a very populated server just horde dominated. THey want out
Heartseeker opens transfers and they flood out like the uncleaned masses they are
Had we been more middle of the road in faction balance relative to other servers. Even if it was still heavily horde favored we would not have had this problem.
Sorry, I still believe it’s not enough generated interest. I’m one of those people that will never roll on a PvP Server. I’m not the only one, either:
Well on p servers and on classic there is barely any population on PvE servers they are basically dead realms next to the pvp pop…Classic doesn’t play well on a PvE server IMO
And that seems to be shared by the vast majority of people who choose a character
As Ali when trying to do solo DM farms I would have to graveyard run at least 8 times and it could take 30 minutes no matter what time it was. I was at the point where I was either going to quit or server transfer.
I’;m guessing horde camp everything from boats to flight paths because their queues are longer. But by camping everything they will make the problem worse as more Ali stop playing or leave the server.
IDK what type of PvE Servers you’re playing on, but mine are fine. And, we can’t know for sure, if folks truly are for PvP Servers or not, without them stating so which is why I linked that thread.
The horde are like eagles that hunt rodents to the point of extinction and end up starving which is what is happening. Their BG ques are long so they camp and make the game less fun for ali until they quit or transfer. Their queues then become 8 hours long and the server dies.
I fail to see any problems with this?
And then you will go back to horde so you can at least play the game instead of spending 90% of the time at the GY
eventually your pop in the world is so low they only go to the major cities
HAHAHA
was sorta awesome except the economy sucked, if you had problems it was probably of your own making as alliance towards the end.
Just look at the stats, there are 10x as many pvp servers…And all of them more populated than yours…?
Vast majoirty of the community has rejected pve servers. Barely enough to fill out a couple servers you guys shouldn’t be in the same battle group as us lol
The same will happen on Whitemane as horde camp everything and make the game unplayable for Ali.
On Whitemane If I want to go to DM I have to die at least 2 times just to get to the other continent and then its a 30 min graveyard run to get to the instance as 8 horde are camping the DM entrance 24/7.
If I didn’t like my guild so much I would have rerolled or transferred by now.
