Hello Kaivax. I just am wondering currently the listed gear from the vendor is 190. Does that mean I can upgrade conquest gear to 200 right at launch?
So are we able to upgrade conquest gear with regular honor?
really blizz 10 weeks for a weapon? looks like im done with shadowlands , that lasted longer than me in bed and that aint long at all.

Cheers, I knew they were there just couldn’t recall them off-hand and was wondering if they were the same as the honor costs (which they appear to be).
So most items will be ~2 weeks to acquire, with weapons being 3-4 weeks. Seems a bit rough. 700 feels like a more appropriate value for the weekly cap, or scaling based on rating etc.
Yeah, this is how it currently works. Conquest is only for the acquisition. Honor does all the upgrades.
Its still a big YIKES from me

The worst part is even if there was absolutely zero achievement required, you would need to pool all conquest for 4 weeks at the start of the season to even get a weapon, all while being able to directly pick any other upgrades during that time period.
PVP Players our only hope is to push 2400+ in week 1 before the pve nerdz catch up smh
Must be joking. Again blizz favoring pve dudes… what a shame vendors were so promising…

It’s been that way for 16 years so…
And you “could” not PvP early in a season in past expansions and use honor gear while waiting for conquest weekly items but you would have been better off getting solid raid gear.

My assessment is way less flattering.
PvE players will have gotten 4 items in the vault too, along with a chance at pieces from raid & m+
Mmmmno that’s not what I experienced in MoP or WoD. During both of those expansions I barely touched PvE and was still competitive in PvP. Maybe early in the xpac the play is to give dungeons a shot but once the first season started you could pretty much ignore PvE.

Conquest was always gated each season.
Well not doing rated i’ll be capped at ilvl200, but at least i’ll be able to grind the tmog so i’m happy

Right. And the BiS gear for PvP was still doing PvP.
You could increase your weekly cap with high rating however. That isn’t the case this time around, which is why I think many are upset.
But M+ didn’t exist.
