First, it was never 1 item per week unless you just bought rings and bracers.
Yes, the vault has RNG but it WILL provide a fair amount of upgrades, especially early when almost any slot is an upgrade.
Then the vendor lets you easily fill the gaps.
It’s not as great as a pure vendor of course, but it’s WAY better than pure RNG (mythic+, and to a lesser extent raiding).
PvP gearing will be slower at launch but end quicker.

Mythic+ will give 210 gear in a weeks time from end of dungeon. Rank 7 Honor gear wont be around for another month. We’re stuck at getting 1 piece every 2 to 3 weeks on average?
This is sadly PvE to PvP for the first couple months at least. Big shame =(

by the time we can fully upgrade our PvP gear I’m going to have over half a conquest set and some off piece gear from the raid or mythics with versa on it
and when im leveling my alts and want to do BGS im going to have to grind out like 20 renown levels before i can upgrade my gear

Ending quicker, right when you won’t need that seasons gear anymore.
The end result of the current set up is that pve players will be geared faster and more easily than pvp players will be. Imagine restricting a raider or a mythic+ player to one piece of gear every other week or so. Dont forget, those players also have access to the vault. What is stopping them from being more efficient for gearing?

Seasons last 5-6 months (20-24 weeks) so…not even close to being at the end of the season?
Mythic+ is literally hard locked to 1 good item per week forever. With no vendor option or gear trading option. That’s a minimum of 15 weeks IF you never get a single duplicate despite the loot table being massive. And no catchup. Maybe that’s the penalty for being faster to obtain lower quality gear.
The fastest gearing for everyone, no matter their activity, is of course do all 3.
You can bet guilds though are going to be pushing members to get 2100 this week though for a guaranteed 226 1h wep going into mythic Nathria.

Also getting a +15 done is alot easier than getting 2100 in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Latters will be compressed. No shot in hell half of you pve’ers are gonna get 2.1 next week lol
You will probably either have to change this, or lose PvP players. The gear acquisition should be equal the rate of running either mythic+ or raids. Just let people do arena for arena gear. Give us lower ilvl items offset by a very strong pvp stat. I don’t care if my 2k gear isn’t as good in a heroic raid as heroic raid gear, but I really, really care if the honor gear I am stuck with for month while unlocking conquest gear isn’t as good in PvP as the gear PvErs will be wearing in weeks.

Please fix this, the amount capped weekly is way too low. It needs to be at least 750 if not more
