PvP Rewards and Item Levels

What’s the point of this achieve anyways?

Someone doing all 3 progression paths will have a gearing advantage for sure in all 3 aspects.

Mythic+ will be the most accessible, and best for getting lower tier gear, but have the most difficulty getting 226 gear in every slot. Also there is no catchup for the 226 gear.

PvP will be the slowest initial gearing, but if you have the rating the easiest/fastest to get 226 in every slot.

Raiding will be a bit in the middle, with mythic being fairly inaccessible for most servers.

You’re ignoring the imbalance in the way gearing happens

Raiders can grind out 220+ gear, anytime of day
PvPers can grind out 220+ gear, anytime of day
M+ players cannot. Our instant gratification is limited to 210 items. Why?

The chest is not satisfying

Probably more of a balance, since mythic+ is by far the best/fastest early gearing and easiest to get 226 at all?

Not sure how raiders “grind” 220 gear though when it’s in a weekly lockout.

I dunno.

You ever timed a +20? I sure haven’t, but I have mythic bosses. Not sure who I am to say those clearing +20-25 aren’t worthy of 226 items

Ouch… please tone down the damage then, everyone is telling us to be patient and wait, but at this rate we will have to deal with these insane numbers for an upwards of 5 months…

Did you mean to say that to someone else? Nothing you said has anything to do with what I typed.

Because the end of dungeon loot at a +15 drops at 210 not 226?

I swear I don’t mean this to sound mean, but I have to laugh a bit at this conversation. Just a couple weeks ago, we casual PvPers were complaining we couldn’t compete against rated PvPers, because we had no access to Conquest gear.

And now it’s the rated PvPers complaining they can’t compete against the Mythic+ crowd.

Blizzard is good at making sure that all PvPers are equally miserable lol.

Ok. 4 weeks to get weap. 1 item. That needs several upgrades.

It’s historically been 3 weeks for conquest wep so…not much different?

And 4 weeks of great vault items while you save as opposed to 1 item with leftover conquest.

Remove the cap on Conquest and put a weekly cap (renown?) on upgrades???

Week One

Rating item-level
Unranked 200
Combatant 207

Week Two

Rating item-level
Challenger 213
Rival 220

Week Three

Rating item-level
Duelist 226

Hours later and you’re still completely missing the point…

Historically, you could at least buy one piece of gear per week. To fully gear through conquest purchases will take 40 weeks, or 10 months. We can discuss the great vault all we want, but with the way things are currently set up, we will be continuing to rely on RNG for gear. What was the point of reinstating the vendors if they were going to be so incredibly inefficient?

because for cloth you can get the highest ilvl chest, helm, shoulder, and back from the last 2 bosses but not two rings.

Blizzard: Please stop pushing rated PvP in this game. WoW is not an eSport. No one wants that except the devs. Please stop the madness. Stop this now.

This is a great change and much more balanced to skill level.

That said, hopefully there are more to come.

Just play the game, everyone will be fine.

Not to mention being honor capped after just 4-5 hours of PvP. I’ve literally been honor capped since week 1. To me, it makes no sense to keep playing PvP for the next few weeks at least. I can come back back to PvP 1 month, do some BG’s and be in the same spot as everyone else. This is good for new players, yes, so they can catch up fast. But for people that want to play, and want to be rewarded for playing, it’s lame.

Didnt you say pvp is always harder than pve basically because scripted vs non scripted, my reply was just saying that eventually that is 100% true but if you are pvping at like below 2k rating its not true, and if its like 1600 rating its for sure not true.
