People are complaining its less loot than pve, when its barely less for the maximum ilvl gear. I don’t think people know they they nerfed drops from raids a lot and also nerfed M+ drops.
This is a garbage design, literally someone who clears the raid on heroic and gets the 220 weapon will have an advantage on anyone in arena/bgs. Stop making people who don’t want to do pve do pve

but its not even close… Listen, PvP players ALWAYS save for weapons first, we’re not buying ANY gear 200+ for the first 4 weeks. How much gear will a PVE player attain during that time? Probably a few + weapon.
Everyone is focused on the weapon gate, but has anyone else realised that 550 a week means nearly 5 months to get a full set? and thats assuming you don’t need the conduits…
Cap is raised depending on your rating. Get good at the game and you get PvP gear more quickly.
I would hope you’re right, but the post says nothing about that.
That’s not what the post says. Unless you get creative with comprehension.
Sure if you ignore the weekly vault.
Its not. High rating only changes the cap to upgrade your gear like being 2100 is ilvl 226 and such.
Please shut it about the weekly vault. Pretend it doesn’t exist, then compare PVE drops to the amount you can buy from PVP vendors. IGNORE THE GD VAULT.
PVE Players will earn gear significantly faster.
Weekly vault doesn’t guarantee you will get the piece with the stats you want, or that you wont get a piece you already have. It’s affect will be negligible.
What’s interesting to me is that while mythic+ is king for quickly gearing to 210 gear, it will be the absolute worst for getting 226, ESPECIALLY since there is no catchup or capacity to trade/funnel gear for it.
I agree that the cap can be raised to like 750 to be better. But as example just most recent change for weapons is already a problem for raiders. Cause technically one hand users can have one handed 226ilvl weapon mythic week from pvp before we even step foot into raid and kill a single mythic boss. So do I force my raiders to pvp now?
The whole system is bad, they just need to bring back pvp power or resilience and give pvpers more gear.
Ill give it a chance blizzard but quiet frankly it looks like a hot pile of garbage. Why didn’t you bring back the pvp stat?
So are you then saying mythic+ has no viable 226 loot path?
Because it can only get its 226 items from the vault and the loot table is MASSIVE.
??? With the weekly vault is 10 weeks. Meaning 2 months and 2 weeks.
Look, it’s great that you guys finally realized that punishing players who don’t hit the conquest cap every week is a bad thing.
But you need to make sure pvp players are not farmed by pve players. So we have to get 2100+ rating to have competitive gear to mythic raiders and M+ farmers? How is that fair? Especially since mythic raiders can get 233 pieces. I looked at the drops for my class too.
233 pieces are:
Two trinkets, a ring, shoulders, helm, cloak.
Here’s a simple fix. Make it so that all honor gear is brought to 200 in PvP environments no matter what rank it is. Then make sure that all conquest gear is brought to 226 (or 233) when in PvP environments no matter what rank it is.
Make it so the rank ups only matter if you want to bring that PvP gear to PvE. If that’s done, hell you can make the 226 requirement be friggin gladiator for all I care. But do this on the condition that all PvE gear is both lowered and capped to ilvl 200 when in PvP environments.
This way PvE players can skip the honor farm to collect an honor set. But they still need to do conquest farming if they want to have the best gear in PvP. While PvP players will most likely have to get PvE gear if they want to do Mythics since 95% of them will never make it past duelist and gladiator. As it should be.
If you’re scared that this might confuse people and force them to have two different sets keep in mind most players rarely get past the normal raid ilvl for gear. Those same people also won’t be getting duelist or probably even rival. So they’ll have a mix of PvP and PvE gear and only have one set of gear. The only people that will actually carry around two sets are the dedicated hardcore players who don’t mind this.
Funnily enough I wasn’t talking about M+ in the thread discussing pvp while I was specifically referring to conquest gear.
I only mentioned it since you don’t feel it will help with PvP gearing when it is literally the entire 226 gear from for mythic+.
I really need to get into the rated pvp this expansion. Go for combatant again
