We dont want you in here. You are basically arguing on something you didnt even put time into. You didnt rank in classic so why even agree to this change? you dumb

To be fair High Warlord in vanilla was supposed to be one every few months at best for the gear. It was a prestige thing. Its now as common as scarab mounts on servers. Like you cant walk through stormwind without seeing 50 scarab mounts. Classic is its own thing and they are i guess way too late trying to make it more vanilla like.

Great change! fk all the dead server rankers and their little multiboxer mafia.

Not a very big muscle decision blizz.

This is literally the definition of toxic.

You are literally now forcing people to play for 20hrs a day / 7 days a week. For what reason is this change even required?

I remember in Vanilla when your business model revolved around doing the best for your customers. Blizzard has come a long way from Blizzard North and the wholesome values you once had as a company.

Welcome to the vanilla honor system.

We had a chance to not have it, but people ranted #nochanges.

Idk it’s a little weird that you’re complaining about something that Vanilla Blizzard developed. They MADE it like this, do you think they designed it for hundreds of low level characters to all congregate in one area to get 15 HKs and then be deleted?

it doesnt matter if they did or didnt. the fact is it is/was in the game and they removed it.

youre delusional if you think boosting while ranking wasnt a grind in itself. it just made it so there was more room so people werent encouraged to not sleep and die irl.

if youre arguing for this you literally havent thought about it for longer than 2 mins.

i understnad the logical argument is “BUG FIX GOOD” but in this case it just simply isnt. its not good for anyone. and this ‘bug’ hurt no one

My position is that “No-changes” was and is a useless philosophy and we should have went with a “Common sense changes” one instead.

Adjusting the Honor system like they did with Black Lotus spawns is the common sense change here. This absurd “mechanic” of creating and deleting thousands of characters a week should have been fixed months ago.

you realize how dumb that sounds right. this literally was a change already in place that they didnt have to lift a finger to worry about. its irrelevant suggesting that we need a change when we had a change. u are literally here for no reason lmfao

players already found the ‘change’ the solution to not killing themselves to rank, and blizz took it away, and youre here arguing semantics

No, how stupid is it that the “change” players found was to heavily abuse a system by creating thousands of level 1’s and deleting them every week?

How about we make a proper change to the system that everyone obviously despises instead of using some busted workaround that would have been changed the instant it was made widespread in Vanilla?

Imagine arguing against adjusting the terrible system because you want your bug back, ROFL. You’re not getting your bug back son, time to compromise.

Right…okay…so less brackets means the grind will take longer. So be it?

If you wouldn’t pay for it off the store, you must find the grind fun and it’s going to be a longer grind now so win win!

But in reality I think Blizzard sees that there are a lot of whales that are willing to spend insane amounts of money in order to achieve R14 a bit quicker. I guess it is simply supply and demand.

Because you can still inflate the pvp pools its only gonna cost you more now.

You want to make it pay to win (because those who invest most into inflating the pools get priority for R14), then I think Blizzard has every right to gouge you for as much as they can.

Why do people think padding = get r14 faster. The only thing it did was open more BR1 slots meaning there’s not some free-for-all system to try fight for honor to get the natural 5 or so spots.

You still have to play 4-5 days+. Having more BR1/BR2 slots just means every has to stack at a high enough breakpoint so that they can’t be caught by individuals going “against the system”. But this also helps the casual people who play a few nights to get rank 11 because they’re able to acheive bracket 3

TLDR there was absolutely no reason to change it this late into classic, it’s just harming the PvP community by allowing less participation because the rewards are too insane of a grind for how irrelevant they are now.

Yeah whatever, inflating the pool on your server enough gets you a BR1 spot guaranteed everyone knows this. It’s pay to win. You gotta pay more now.

In my realm, someone is not only doing drugs and not sleeping, he’s intentionally pushing his already high warlord toon way passed bracket caps. I went from being able to get 10 this week to now I can’t at all because he made the caps go higher. It went from 325k (which is already very time consuming) to over 400 just for b12. And he’s doing it because he’s mad people didn’t wanna play with him and he’s been blacklisted. He even said he’d rather die than to stop doing what he’s doing. A gnome who goes by the name of trixie, whom I’ve even had many disagreements with had a person who had sleep deprived seizures. So to say that what they were doing was abusive and not helpful to people is annoying Because what the community came up with DID NOT promote toxic behavior it actually combated it quite well. Abuse lol, yeah let’s ignore the Chinese bots infesting our servers and jacking up auction houses. The community came up with a method so don’t discredit the players because This so called abuse you speak of was a good thing no matter which angle your nose was lodged inside blizzards bum alright. We figured it out because blizzard couldn’t. What they’re doing is promoting really bad behavior. I wish it wasn’t even that serious but Jesus. This is The one thing I’m glad pvpers can come together with and have in common, rather you premade or pug, we can all be in favor that they should either open up more slots or leave it be. We had it, we were doing fine. No thanks to blizzard. And with this fix it’s no thanks to blizzard yet again. And no thanks to blizzard for yet a third time, because this hotfix could have went toward server something that could actually help.

It’s like you people don’t even read what I’m saying. Here’s my post from the start of this thread:

I don’t think Blizzard should have fixed this at this point without adjusting the system. They’re not going to go back and re-enable this exploit, so your only option is to ask them to adjust the system to be less abusive on a person’s health.

Still have to play minimum 70hrs/week on my server to guarantee bracket one honour WITH the inflated pool.

That’s the equivalent of about two full-time jobs. Hardly a minor commitment over the 12 weeks or so it takes to get r14.

I’m not sure how many hours the people going for top brackets are putting in this week with the changes announced, Mlad who posted above could tell you since he’s probably going standing one this week. But it’s not something most people could safely sustain for 12 weeks in a row.

This decision was reckless and irresponsible as well as callous.
