pretty sure a lot of people that’s ranking are going to cancel their subscription because of this.
People who make internal decisions for Classic WoW… wtf is going on in your heads? Are you guys actually that brain dead? This hurts nothing but the players and encourages more individuals to bot in BGs.
This sounds just like the bs you guys pulled with the Black Lotus spawn timer changes. Bots got way worse after you guys did that even though you cited you did it to curb bots and give people a chance to get it? Competition got worse… there were more botters until you guys did a ban wave on them all… price never changed on BL either. you guys do nothing to fix actual problems with the game like Lok summon bug in a 16 year old game but you make changes that literally hurt every person playing pvp. Nevermind a lot of people manually pool. If you wanna fix bots, ban bots. Dont’ change the game that end up hurting players…
Like it or not, those pool parties help every pvper out. If you don’t approve of that, then don’t make the ranking system into such a joke where you basically have to give up on your job and your life just to get high warlord. and you make decisions like this, why should i ever give Shadowlands the time of day?
it doesnt matter. as long as theres a player there will be 45 indonesians camping each lotus spawn, botting strat, to sell that player gold so they can raid log
I don’t think the issue here is a few players who made some alts to get killed in the razor hill GY to inflate the pools. I think it’s the real money transactions from the industrialization of the pool party. Some server’s pools are being boosted by thousands of characters every week. It makes sense these people achieve their ‘service’ by making and deleting characters, allowing them to inflate the brackets far more than their account should be able to.
Pretty clear no one will respect the brackets at least the first few weeks. It’ll be FFA bracket breakers left and right. Diminished slots for br14 almost guarantees this. If you aren’t ready to pump 1 million + honor, give up on becoming HWL. This means if you aren’t already at 400k honor for this week by the end of current day’s honor reset, you should give up. Or if you’re willing to neglect your IRL family, job, relationships, responsibilities; then go for it. The memes of people becoming messy hoarders while ranking to HWL might become reality again in some servers.
This really sucks. I am not happy. So hard to rank as is. This is going to make the pvp world very toxic. I guess I will never see rank 12 now. Whoever thought that was a good idea should be fired. You are about to experience massive blowback from pvp community as well as effectively killing it at the same time. For someone that has bought every expansion and paid my $15 a month for last 16 years this is enough to make me not renew when my current subscription runs out. Hope your happy blizzard.
mages using pathing bugs to aoe entire dungeons - ok
bots tele/flyhacking to every herb - no problem
more bots mass farming dungeons to the point where an orb costs less than 1 plaguebloom on some realms - nothing to see here
pool boosting that helps actual players of any class/faction/realm - “fixed”"
No one asked for this change. This change hurts the player base more than helps it. Show us the benefit of this change as it was still in the game till the honor system was changed in pre patch for TBC?
You are not listening to your customers, you consistently push content or make changes in your own best interest. Cannot wait for Mike Morhaime makes a new game so I can play something that the developers will either talk to the player base as well as interact with them.
I have gotten R14 on a toon and do not envy the rest of you ranking. You all deserve better from this gaming company!
