Yet you do stuff like this…
Yes it’s called being facetious. Amazing how you can’t read into that.
Not sure what you mean by this. But I do think PvP in this game has been made worse by the very obvious gap between min-maxers and casuals. Min-maxers will do absolutely everything they can to always have the most minute advantage in every situation. Regular people generally don’t play that way so are naturally at a disadvantage. So in unrated BGs, at the very least, you can see this mismatch clearly.
Oh, I know, I was just matching your trolling. I don’t really care about you toxic care Bears it’s just fun to watch you guys flounder around.
I think it’s unfair to say they are neglecting PvP. If anything, between Dragonflight and War Within they’ve added more for PvP than they have in quite awhile. Blitz, now rated solo, and a new battleground, as well as some nifty new war mode rare chests to find and the changes to being upgrade PvP equipment with PvE currency instead of honor, etc.
So yeah, it’s not that they are neglecting PvP, it’s that they are working on it very slowly. Too slow? Maybe. Random battlegrounds are fun for now, but by the time the season starts I will be playing nothing but blitz. I won’t even do them for the weekly quest because it’s just not worth it. And epics I haven’t touched in like a year because of all the premades.
There’s so many things they could easily do that would improve the PvP situation whether we’re talking about war mode or random/epic battlegrounds. I hope we continue to see improvements.
Sorry, I just feel it’s important to point out the wins from the devs when we get them.
Adding new modes to be neglected when they can’t even fix other modes isn’t really a “win” in my book. PvP as a whole needs a complete revamp.
Because you make broad statements and assume people know what you are talking about (and agree with you) yet you say nothing at all.
i did nothing of the sort
Plenty of people understand. Just because you don’t doesn’t mean others don’t as well.
The reason I didn’t buy was a matter of direction for what little investment we receive. I think your concern and mine as well is they’re not maintaining the systems and allowing people to flounder. They want rated because they want grind but I’m not looking for an ARPG or something I need to invest my life in to play. They leave the old systems broken to force people into the new ones which promote their agenda which is very anti-casual play.
So anecdotes based on anecdotes, got it.
You must’ve gotten lost. General discussion is that way →
Well first off they’d have to care about it. The CEO is former raid leader of one of the top guilds in the game. He never pvp’d. He hated it. So regardless of the money aspect of it when the vision at the top views at as something they have to do to appease a sect of the player base it will never be as good as it could be. The problem starts at the top and until that changes the focus on PvP never will.
There’s a simpler solution than that, regular class tuning with actual rationale and DISCUSSION with the player base. They wouldn’t need to spend the time and effort into creating new content as often if they would just devote time to correcting specs that are outliers. It’s pretty damn obvious when a spec is OP and could be corrected via hot fix (don’t make people wait for a reset when it isn’t needed). They’ve shown they can make changes that are PvP specific. They simply don’t care enough to devote time to PvP gameplay.
BG blitz is probably the best thing to happen for casuals in a long time. What are you talking about? I’m a super casual dad. Now I can queue up for BG blitz without having to worry about consumables, queuing into premades, queue syncers etc.
I hope it’s successful for the people it’s designed for, it just seems designed for people that wanted solo queue RBGs rather than for people that normally avoid rated. It also seems like an excuse not to fix our part of the game, I wonder when or if they’ll ever fix the game for people like me. To reiterate, though, I hope it’s successful for people that wanted something like that. I honestly do.
Did you miss where I had provided the results of an official survey, and someone later provided a link to it?
Did you miss what an anecdote is?
If you’re talking about Ion, he does have rated pvp achievements, albeit from a long time ago. I also don’t think he’s the one ultimately making the decisions on pvp balancing.
Talk about needing to provide a link.
Its funny, every time I joined a BG the other side always filled up. Seems to be plenty of folks quing.
You have zero basis for this nonsense.
deflect and attack classic lol
