He got banned in 2011, then when the Classic forums were created in 2017, banned users were able to post, even though they were banned. You’ll notice in all of this he had no known posts from the moment he was banned till 2017, when the Classic forums were created. He messed up and called someone a name and when they looked into it, they realized he was on a banned account.
A CM claimed that was what happened, yet a blue responded to him confirming that his account received no actions for swearing or threats EVER, and there were no actions against him in 2011. We’re not sure where the CM got his info from, but even Blizzard is saying that CM is wrong and OP is innocent .

Thats not proof though, you automatically assume the GM was not mistaken, and assume the CM who some seem to not like is the one who is wrong.
And they are BOTH Blizzard.
so theyre both wrong? what the hell logic is that man

Either way, the OPs status is completely off topic.

No. But we can’t see the info they are looking at, so we don’t know which is wrong so to claim one or the other is wrong is biased. Again, totally off topic.
um no obviously in this case the GM was, thought that was pretty clear.

If you don’t know what spell batching is, it’s the way the game processed spells before WoD. Spells were processed every server tick instead of ASAP and it’s what let two Mages polymorph each other, two Rogues gouge each other, two Priests fear each other, and so on.
While it’s true that it was originally design because of technical limitations, it was kept all the way until WoD because of the positive effect it had on game play , most notably PvP.
In PvP it gave you options that are not available to you now under current game mechanics. Gouging your opponent’s kidney shot, frost nova and jumping your opponent’s stun, vanishing a death coil, and any other interaction between spells that would be exclusively possible on the old system and not the new could be used as example.
In vanilla it was what prevented Gouge+restealth from working. With a 5.5 second incapacitate and a 5 second combat timer, in theory it should have been possible to restealth before the target recovered. But in practice someone mashing an instant cast skill could “tag” the Rogue before/while he restealthed.
The list could go on, but without spell batching, the PvP won’t be remotely authentic, the meta will change and class balance will be altered.
I really hope spell batching is turned back to what it was in vanilla

What? Nobody knows the GM, not sure your point there, and very clearly some do NOT like the CM in question, so anything he says is then viewed by those people as wrong to begin with.
All of this comes down to a decision that neither of them make solely by themselves, and GMs don’t always seem to have to same access as others, if it got kicked down the chain and more research was done by people with more access/tools and the result changed, I’d say they probably got their verification.
All comes back to the other thing, the claim of silencing the topic, which was never done obviously, this whole side issue is irrelevant to that, and honestly it is not hard to NOT get actioned.

It won’t be the same if spell batching isn’t in. Still yet to have official reply on this.

You’re not likely to get one on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, either
This is the thread that needs blue attention. Its substantive, informative and on topic.

Blue responded to the spell batching issue right here:
There hasn’t been a single post removed about spell batching, nor would anyone ever be penalized for expressing their opinion constructively. Also that post you’re talking about is still up.
I believe the removal of spell batching was in MoP in patch 5.0.1. I don’t have anything to share on it at this point in time but we have seen the very lengthy conversations about it. When we have something more concrete to share on it we will let you guys know!

Why is the meta changing necessarily bad?
Vanilla didn’t even have competitive or ranked PVP. No arena, no RBG, just plain old battlegrounds that you queue for fun with minimal rewards. So whats this Meta you are speaking about when it didn’t even exist in Vanilla?
Completely agree with Xjum, spell batching is part of the authentic classic experience.

If you’re against spell batching in vanilla wow, you might as well be asking for lfr and ret paladin buffs too. #nochanges

I’m a simple man, if it was in Vanilla, I want it in Classic.

For everyone asking “Why does it matter” the answer is simple.
We want the game as was played in 2004 - 2006.

Why are you showing a video from post vanilla to prove a vanilla “meta”?
