I would like to finally see some interesting PvP coming from WoW… We all know the skill gap for WoW is gear, not actual skill (for the most part) so I would rather see less PvE functions/mechanics in PvP BGs…

People have been asking for a TDM Battleground for 16 years. Blizzard refuses. Also lmao at sweat necks!!.
Dude I’d kill for a game mode where there’s no objective besides kill. Go as long as you want and when you’re done, leave.

Current Ashran has a resource cap. 150 people die and the game is over.
Like Ezae said, old Ashran basically had no end objective and would run for a considerable amount of time. If the enemy leader died the game kept going and they just eventually respawned, and there wasn’t any resource cap to put a stop to the fun.
All I’d want is a giant gladiatorial arena where you can just run around and kill people until you decide you’re ready to leave.

AV and Ashran devolve into TDM when both sides forgo objectives.
Gurubashi arena. Sometimes the wpvp communities meet up there, but it’s also at risk of ambush from other big communities who show up uninvited and unwanted from both sides.
Like gurubashi or the DMF arena, yes. More isolated like standard arenas, maybe with buffs or random events you can spawn for so many kills?
10 kills and you can summon a blizzard that slows everyone or a lightning storm that randomly stuns players caught in the AoE. Just kind of like a party event, if I’m making sense.

then you are talking about wpvp. there is even a few free for all arenas, though, none active in SL because SL wpvp rolled -5 on the dev budget.

Yeah, I’d still prefer a new ashran to a wpvp event. TDM is an acceptable medium, however I’d want something more open ended and controlled.
How is the current Ashran anything but a giant team deathmatch?

SSvTM is another death match . Personally I don’t prefer these kinds of BG’s but I am sure others enjoy it.

They forget about Ashran because how boring it is and truthfully how boring a TDM would be. The meta for it would be horrible, why do you think they removed 5s.
