PvP leveling?

I haven’t played Wrath Classic in so long so I’m out of the loop. I would like to finally finish leveling this guy but I’m not sure I want to bother with questing since that gets old fast.

Even on retail I only pvp. Would it be viable for me to just do AV for getting the last few levels?

Sure. Might take longer and that’s it.

Cataclysm follows nearly identical design philosophy of Wrath. So if you have need/interest in Head/Shoulder enchants provided by varies factions, you’re going to need to quest a little.

But if you just want to get Tol Barad enchants, that works too.
It’s possible to play the game purely in PvP. Youre really only missing out on 1 ring and 1 trinket and maybe 1-3 PvE pieces for some min maxing in PvP, by giving up survivability for extra power.

“Resilience” is the PvP stat that takes one the stat slots. On Retail it’s all Versatility, so PvP can be used in PvE freely. Not really the case for Wrath/Cata.

You won’t get queue pops unless it’s AV weekend. Sadly.

I think you can cue for whatever the weekend is. Strand is over in and out 15m adventure, ab can be relaxing, and av is av. I would avoid wsg, and isle if you are going for exp. They can drag out. Doing the dungeon quests at 78, and wtg quests at 78 can give some nice exp.

  1. You get far more doing quests or dungeons.
  2. There’s no BGs to even do most of the time.
