Why do they keep nerfing affli/demo along with destro? Target specific destro nerfs on their tankiness or their mastery.

hitting vitality conduit and ineffable trinket could be seen as slight rmpal nerfs

agree with this, additional question: is the damage done component of soul leech where most warlocks were getting the most dividends from it? my impression was always that the big piece of soul leech you have to chew through in pvp is the passively regenerated part.

i guess, but hasn’t rmp been a pretty firm second banana to rmpal for quite a lot of this season? every disc streamer i’ve watched hates playing into rmpal

baseline, soul leech is just an ability that generates a shield worth 8% of your damage, and it caps at 10% of your max hp

demon skin (talent) increases the cap to 15% of your max hp, and includes a passive regeneration that’s .5% of your max hp per second. it’s really not that much, especially while the warlock is constantly getting hit

this is what i’m trying to talk about; are you saying that most of the soul leech healing you get over the course of games comes from the damage you deal? because my impression was pretty firmly that the passive regeneration is what accounts for most of the healing that spell does in a game

i can’t really say for sure because I don’t pvp much on lock (and when I do I don’t play destro xd) but I would assume that 8% of your damage, including bolts and immolate rot, would account for more of a shield than a passive .5% per second. but again i’m really not sure

this is exactly why they waited so long to nerf them. you guys are ungrateful , the post has been up for 11 minutes and you guys are already complaining

Warlock health is at like 650k with demon armor in arena? I think that’s close. if so:

Passive demon skin in 60 seconds: 195,000 health
Damage you need to do in 60 seconds to get same healing: 2,437,500

Are Warlocks doing 2.5 million damage for every minute that passes in arena?
